Alisha graduated from Anthem College in 2007 for Medical Assisting. Alisha has always had an interest in the medical field and patient care. Alisha has mastered the art of phlebotomy and worked in various roles within healthcare. Alisha has experience in many specialties including dermatology, endocrinology, geriatrics, internal medicine, gynecology/hormone therapy, and pulmonology. Her combination of experience and caring approach make her a great addition to the MedCosmetic team. In her free time, Alisha enjoys traveling, attending sporting events and listening to music.

Amanda Wilson is a Board Certified Family Nurse Practitioner. She received her BSN from UMKC in 2007. As a registered nurse, she spent 5 years working in the trauma ICU at KU. At that time, she decided to advance her education and graduated from KU in 2012 as a Family Nurse Practitioner (APRN).
As a Family Nurse Practitioner, she worked 7 years in family medicine, in which, 3 of those years, also included running a specialized bio-identical hormone replacement program with her collaborating physician. She managed hormone deficiencies for patients, as well as empowered them to make positive lifestyle changes to optimize their health.
Prior to joining Mirabile M.D., Amanda worked in a busy urgent care and as needed in the emergency room.
Amanda has grown up in Overland Park and now lives with her husband and 2 daughters. In her spare time, she enjoys being social with her friends, being at her children's recreational activities, hiking to find all the waterfalls across the city, camping and driving in the car with the windows down listening to music.
A member of our team since 2015, Anna is passionate about helping our medical spa and weight loss patients achieve their beauty and wellness goals. Anna is currently working toward a certification is nutrition. She is also attending esthetics school and is on track to become a licensed esthetician by September 2023. Anna enjoys spending time with her family and friends, trying new restaurants and attending concerts. She is dog-Mom to her pup, Chloe.
Betsy Stander received her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Washington Adventist University located in Maryland. Betsy obtained her Masters of Science from University of Missouri of Kansas City and earned her APRN. Betsy has worked in women's health care for 15 years including labor and delivery and gynecological surgery. She is married and a busy Mom of 5 boys. Betsy loves to cook and travel. She is also interested in crafts and enjoys scrapbooking.
Bridget Webb joined Dr. Mirabile's team in 1996. Bridget attended the University of Kansas for her Bachelor of Arts, Psychology, then continued her education at Avila College where she earned a Bachelor of Science in Nursing. Bridget decided to further her education in women's health graduating from University of Missouri - Kansas City in 1999 with her APRN and has happily practiced as a Women's Health Care Nurse Practitioner with Dr. Mirabile ever since.
Bridget's areas of expertise include well woman care, weight management programs, treatment of abnormal pap smears, and bio-identical hormone replacement.
When Bridget is not seeing patient's she enjoys cooking, reading and exercising and spending time with her husband and two sons.
Colette graduated from the University of Illinois with a Business Management degree. With a strong passion for health and nutrition, Colette pursued studies in diet and nutrition and also obtained certification as a personal trainer. Colette's education, personal commitment to health and her desire to help others reach their weight loss goals, make her a great asset to the Mirabile M.D. Weightloss team. Colette enjoys spending time with her husband and children, traveling and attending sporting events.

Cynthia has been a front office team member at Mirabile M.D. since 2020 having spent three years prior as receptionist with other medical offices.
When she's not working, Cynthia enjoys caring for her dogs and spending time with family and friends. Cynthia loves to shop and enjoys finding new television shows to watch with her family.
James Mirabile, MD is a board-certified Obstetrician and Gynecologist. He is well respected among patients and colleagues in the Kansas City metro area for his work in obstetrics, gynecology, bio-identical hormone therapy, medical aesthetics, and medical weight loss.
Dr. Mirabile began providing obstetrics and gynecology in 1992. He has built a reputation of providing a welcoming atmosphere and exceptional patient care. After delivering over 7,500 babies, Dr. Mirabile stopped Obstetrics and now concentrates his areas of expertise in Gynecology including minimally invasive gynecological treatment and bio-identical hormone therapy to treat peri-menopausal and menopausal women. In 2013, Dr. Mirabile's team began offering bio-identical hormone replacement therapy to men who are suffering from low testosterone and andropause (the male equivalent to menopause), using SottoPelle® therapy. Dr. Mirabile is proud to have served on the SottoPelle Advisory Board and to have served as SottoPelle's National Medical Director. Dr. Mirabile and his team have provided training to SottoPelle providers around the United States.
Since opening MedCosmetic in 1999, Dr. Mirabile and his team have offered patients state-of-the-art, non-surgical cosmetic treatments. Dr. Mirabile's team of registered nurses and licensed esthetician's offer the latest services and products to treat virtually any skin condition or concern. Nationally, Dr. Mirabile is known as a pioneer in cosmetic laser treatments. He has been on the forefront of laser technology since the 1990's and is a frequent guest lecturer at aesthetic conferences helping to educate doctors and medical professionals across the country on laser treatments and non-surgical cosmetic procedures. In 2010, Dr. Mirabile added Weightloss® to his practice helping men and women to achieve their goals of weight loss and overall health. This physician supervised weight loss program has phenomenal results. Dr. Mirabile is proud to be a part of the National Weightloss physican-owner advisory board.
Dr. Mirabile is listed as one of the "Top Physicians" in the United States by the Center for the Study of Services in Washington, DC. He has also been awarded the "Physician of the Decade Award", voted upon by his peers, and listed in Squire Magazine. Dr. Mirabile's peers have also consistently voted him "Top OB/GYN" since 1994. He is listed in the Kansas City Magazine 10 years in a row as one of the "SUPER DOCTOR'S" also voted upon by local peers and in 2016 became a part of the "SUPER DOCTOR'S" Hall of Fame.
Dr. Mirabile completed his undergraduate work at Creighton University and earned his medical degree from the University of Missouri at Kansas City. He trained in Chicago, Illinois at Mt. Sinai Hospital and St. Joseph Medical Center, an affiliate of Northwestern University.
When Dr. Mirabile is not seeing patients, he enjoys traveling with his wife, Vicki, and visiting their adult children living in New York.
Jessica obtained her bachelor's degree in nursing from Avila University in Kansas City, MO. Jessica has been with Mirabile M.D. as a nurse injector since 2012. As a Diamond Award Recipient awarded by Allergan, her expertise has kept her at the forefront of medical aesthetic improvements. She has mastered the "injectable facelift," a combination of dermal fillers and paralytics. Jessica has extensive experience with injecting paralytics all over the face from a brow lift to a neck lift.

Jessica is a Certified Allergan injectionist, Certified Galderma injectionist, Certified Merz injectionist, Certified Sculptra injectionist, Certified Kybella injectionist, and Certified Ultherapist.
Jessica's work was selected by Galderma to be featured on the Sculptra Aesthetic website and displayed in the Sculptra Aesthetic Face Studies.
Jessica's cosmetic injectable treatments include Botox, Dysport, dermal filler, Sculptra, Kybella, Micro-Tox infusion, and PRP. Jessica also performs an array of other aesthetic treatments including Ultherapy, Morpheus8, Active FX CO2 fractional laser, Venus microlaser peel, laser hair removal, Skin Pen microneedling, Clear + Brilliant, and body sculpting.
Jessica appreciates that each patient has his or her own aesthetic goals and enjoys working with patients to achieve their desired outcome. Kathryn graduated from the University of Kansas with a degree in communication studies and business. Kathryn previously worked for Cerner where she helped clients to maintain and update their EMR (Eletronic Medical Records) systems. She also worked as General Manager for Baldwin Denim, a company that specializes in bringing contemporary clothing brands to the Kansas City area. Kathryn's experience in both corporate medical systems and retail business is an asset to the Mirabile M.D. team and our patients. Kathryn and her husband enjoy trying new restaurants and spending time with family and friends - including summer weekends on the lake.

Morgan is a member of the hormone therapy and gynecology health team at Mirabile M.D. She enjoys building relationships with her patient's and helping them feel better and reach their health goals. Morgan studied at Central Texas College and has always had an interest and passion for healthcare.
Nikki Sykes has worked alongside Dr. Mirabile since 2007 and handles gynecology and hormone therapy patient accounts and billing as well as specialized patient care and testing. Nikki obtained her LPN in 1994 and has specialized training in urology and urodynamic testing. She is married with 3 children and enjoys spending time with her family and attending her children's youth sporting events.
Paula earned a Bachelor of Science in Public Relations and Marketing from the University of Central Missouri in 1992. She has over 25 years of marketing communications experience and has spent the last 10+ years in the aesthetics and wellness industry. Paula joined Dr. Mirabile's team in 2012 helping him to combine his separate medical practices and forming Mirabile M.D. Beauty, Health & Wellness. Paula regularly participates in industry-related training and most recently completed The Certified Aesthetic Consultant Program. Paula is a health enthusiast and is passionate about sharing the Mirabile M.D. message with the Kansas City area. She firmly believes investing in one's well-care and prioritizing health is the key to being more present for those we love. Paula is married with three children and has a sweet rescue pup named Beau. She enjoys cooking for her family and friends, reading, traveling, and fitness+yoga.

Sophia is passionate about her work as a nurse injector and strives to help patients accentuate their natural beauty while minimizing the areas that bother them. Sophia completed her undergraduate work at the University of Arkansas and earned her BSN from St. Luke's College of Nursing in 2015. She has extensive training with cosmetic injectable products and techniques including the lip flip, jawline enhancement, liquid face lift, masseter clenching, liquid chin implant, chemical brow lift, Nefertiti neck lift, cobblestone chin, hyperhidrosis and tear trough treatment. She has participated in advanced trainings for specific product lines including Restylane, Dysport, Radiesse, RHA Collection, Kybella, Juvederm, Botox, Sculptra training with Dr. Anil Rajani, and Belotero. As well as Duet Injector training, EPIC Next Dimension Injector training, Master Course injector training with Dr. De Maio, Advanced Canula training for dermal filler, The Aesthetic Show Advanced Dermal Filler and Advanced Neurotoxin Techniques Level II and Level VI courses, and Dr. Steve Yoelin Master Injector Course training (selected as 1 of only 3 nurse injectors in the Kansas City area to participate in this exclusive training program).

Sophia was born and raised in the Kansas City area. She grew up preparing and enjoying delicious Italian food and is excited to now share in Lebanese food and traditions enjoyed by her husband's family. She values family, loves to cook, enjoys traveling and spending time with her husband, son and their rescue dog, Bella.
Tama Veltri has been a Licensed Esthetician since 1999. Tama works with each patient to develop a skin fitness plan that includes a combination of in-office, corrective treatments along with an at-home skin care regimen. Tama is passionate about helping patients improve skin conditions and overall skin health and vitality.
Tama was instrumental in the development of the Johnson County Community College esthetics curriculum, where she taught for 12 years. In addition, Tama is NCEA certified. NCEA certification represents the highest skin care credential available in the United States and adherence to the code of ethics of the esthetician profession.
Tama has extensive training in laser treatments, custom facials, chemical peels and makeup application. Tama's more recent training and certification's include:

Vicki has a background in organizational management and public relations. Her involvement with charitable organizations brings Mirabile M.D. closer to the community we serve. Vicki manages the day-to-day operations of MedCosmetic and our Weightloss division ensuring operational efficiency and that we are providing our patients with the best service possible. Vicki enjoys spending time with her husband, grown children and extended family.
