NATIVE YOUTH CENTRE

The Native Youth Centre is opening doors not only for Indigenous youth, but for the whole community. This project presents an exciting opportunity for us all to take meaningful steps on the path to reconciliation. Every contribution we receive will help us create a community of caring in support of Indigenous youth... Our vision is for a 50,000-square-foot Indigenous youth hub at the corner of East Hastings and Commercial Drive, in the heart of the urban Indigenous community. The centre will offer a diverse continuum of culturally informed, youth-focused programs and services, including: a health and wellness centre, alternative school programs, recreation facilities, social enterprise, spiritual and ceremonial spaces, an arts studio, and more... The Native Youth Centre will be the first facility of its kind in North America.
