Agustín Goldfart - COO

Agustín Goldfart is Newlink's Operations Director. Based in Buenos Aires office, he reports to CEO Sergio Roitberg. His responsibilities include perfecting the collaborative consulting model and management methods, supporting the specialists who develop programs for clients, and finding new business opportunities in various industries. Agustín brought his experience in transformation processes to Newlink. As Commercial Director for South America at Belgian mining company Sibelco, he took part in the sale of the company's lime operations. Later, at Mexican group Calidra, he was responsible for new business in the Southern Cone of South America and worked on opening new markets for the lime company, including the lithium industry. In institutional relations, he was a director of the Argentine Chamber of Mining Companies (CAEM) for seven years. As a consultant at Integration Consulting between 2006 and 2015, Agustín worked on more than 30 projects in companies in Latin America and the Caribbean, in industries ranging from petrochemicals to mass consumer products. A graduate of Torcuato Di Tella University in Argentina and with a postgraduate degree in Innovation and Change Management from Di Tella, Agustín also received a certificate in Leadership and Innovation from MIT in the United States. Agustín speaks Spanish, English and Portuguese. He is married and has two children. A sports lover, he runs often and plays soccer when he can.

Eduardo Valcárcel leads Newlink's operation in the Dominican Republic, providing strategic advice to clients. Eduardo brings to Newlink an extensive knowledge of conducting business in the Dominican Republic, with more than a decade of experience at international agencies with operations in the country. Prior to joining Newlink, Eduardo was vice president of communications, Orange Dominicana for France Telecom, and director at Codetel, Verizon and Claro in the areas of public relations, advertising, corporate communications and marketing. He was also director of corporate communications for Grupo Vicini, where he oversaw crisis management for clients in the sugar industry and financial sector. During his career, he also helped rebrand Verizon and Claro in the Dominican Republic and Puerto Rico.

Fernando Crespo Núñez

Fernando Crespo Nuñez leads and supervises all of Newlink Argentina's creative services as Group Creative Director. Focusing on the strategic component of the creative work, he ensures that the services Newlink offers its clients go beyond the freshness of a "good idea" for a specific campaign or ad spot. He has a talent for identifying a shared purpose and aligning the creative area with the client's values and objectives. Fernando brings to Newlink a track record in the industry dating back more than 20 years. He has broad experience at internationally renowned agencies such as J. Walter Thompson and McCann Erickson (where he was named creative director at the age of just 27). But the independent path he subsequently forged in the BTL and digital world also gave him a broad-based vision of the communications universe. Over the course of his career, he has developed strategies, concepts, and campaigns for clients such as Unilever, General Motors, Exxon, Coca-Cola, Reckitt Benckiser, Aerolíneas Argentinas, Barrick, Kraft Foods, Arcos Dorados, and Citibank that have targeted local and regional markets as well as the U.S. Hispanic market and Spain. Fernando has a degree in social communication from the Universidad del Salvador and also studied art direction at the Escuela Superior de Creativos Publicitarios and copywriting at the Argentine Advertising Association (AAP). He has won various national and international awards.

Fernando Martínez oversees communications and client services for companies operating in the Dominican Republic. He is an expert in the design and implementation of communications and public relations strategies. Fernando brings to Newlink more than a decade of experience crafting strategic client campaigns designed to raise visibility in front of target audiences in order to drive business. Prior to joining Newlink, Fernando was a managing partner at AF COMUNICACIÓN ESTRATEGICA. In that role, he managed new business development, public relations consulting and general communications for more than 20 local and multinational companies. Prior to that, he served as manager of communications and corporate affairs for CEMEX, was sales manager at Procter & Gamble in the Dominican Republic, and product manager for Daniel Espinal CxA.

Gina is a Public Affairs Manager with more than 15 years of experience solving highly complex problems, focused on mining and energy. Before joining Newlink, Gina worked as Head of Planning and PMO Manager of Romero Group Services Corporation, where she promoted the process of transforming the system areas throughout the group. Gina was also administrator and responsible for Planning and Monitoring of the Regional Clean Air Program (PRAL) of the Swiss Cooperation, executed by the Swiss Foundation for Technical Development Cooperation (Swisscontact) and the National Environment Council, now the Ministry of Environment. Gina is an administrator from Universidad del Pacifico, with a master's degree in Social Responsibility and Sustainability from the School of Business-CENTRUM of the Pontifical Catholic University of Peru. She also has post-graduate studies in Public Management from Universidad del Pacifico and the University Institute of Research Ortega y Gasset, Madrid.

Jessica Armado

Jessica has experience working with clients across many categories including banks and oil companies. She has spearheaded internal, external and corporate communications strategies for clients including Chevron, CAF, Diageo, MasterCard, Grupo Terra, Millicom, among others. She also serves as a Project Manager for strategic projects with 360 execution of citizen campaigns in electoral processes and others. She has led campaigns during elections in Ecuador and Peru. Jessica leads and provides training in different areas such as Media Trainings, Storytelling, Key Messaging Construction, Presentation Skills, Crisis drills, among others. In addition, she has participated in international conferences where she discusses the rules of the new, transparent world and the importance of treating the reputation as a financial asset. Born in Venezuela, Jessica moved to the United States in 2007 and graduated from Florida International University, with a B.A. in International Business and Marketing. Jessica also served as the President of a non-profit organization focused on defending and strengthening democracy in Venezuela and other countries.

Rodrigo Zuñiga focuses on Corporate Communications, Reputation Management and New Businesses. Rodrigo has advised the corporate affairs of some of Latin America most influential multinationals, including firms such as PepsiCo, L'Oréal, Kimberly-Clark, Philip Morris International, Goodyear, Janssen-Johnson & Johnson, Televisa, Nexa Resources and American Tower Corporation. He was instrumental in the development of the local Communications Department and Newlink´s collaborative consulting approach in Peru. He holds a degree in Political Science and Government from Pontifical Catholic University of Peru (PUCP).

Santiago Esteban

Santiago Esteban is an expert in reputation management and the development of communication and connection strategies. Since 2007, he has helped companies and organizations transform their businesses. Santiago is the Vice President of the Reputation Management and Public Affairs area at Newlink Spain, that country's leading collaborative strategic consulting firm. His 15 years of experience in strategic and communications consulting include previous positions as Senior Manager at Burson-Marsteller, where clients in a PR Scope survey selected him as one of their most valued professionals, and account manager at financial communications agency Grupo Albión. Santiago also formerly worked as a journalist at prestigious leading national publications such as El Mundo and La Razón. He holds a bachelor's degree in journalism and earned an Executive MBA from ESIC Business & Marketing School and a master's degree in institutional and political communication from Madrid's Universidad Carlos III de Madrid. Santiago is a member of the Association of Institutional Relations Professionals (APRI) and through his consulting work has assisted with the development of different start-ups in Spain.
