Palacios joined Newsweek Media Group from Televisa Publishing + Digital where he served as Head of US Operations. Palacios previously held operations, finance, and business development positions at companies including DLA, Inc., PRISA, Terra Networks USA and Latin America, Telefonica B2B, and PricewaterhouseCoopers.
Palacios is a graduate of Universidad de la Republica Oriental del Uruguay, holds an MBA from Universidad ORT Uruguay, and has completed Strategy and Finance courses at Harvard and Stanford.

Amit Shah is the SVP of Finance and General Manager of EMEA of Newsweek.
Shah is responsible for managing Newsweek's operations in EMEA from the London bureau, which includes driving new revenue verticals, P&L management, commercial development, building brands, business operations, strategy, and planning.
Shah is a senior digital media and technology executive, accomplished leader, team manager, and skilled negotiator responsible for deal generation and execution including brand extensions and licensing. Shah specializes in launching new products from planning to delivery.
Shah has over 15 years of experience building and leading finance teams with significant operating scale and complexity. Shah joined IBT Media UK in 2012 as finance controller/director, where he administered the company's finances, business support, financial planning and analysis, treasury, internal audit, and tax functions.
Before joining Newsweek, Shah had worked for CPA firms in the UK and as a management consultant for private companies.
Shah has accounting qualifications, a degree in engineering (electronics), a postgraduate qualification in aviation engineering, and has completed the General Management and Essentials of Strategy, Finance, and Leadership Program from London Business School (LBS).

Christopher Roberts is Newsweek's first Global Publishing Editor, responsible for maintaining the highest editorial standards and leading a team of copy editors in the United States and United Kingdom.
Roberts helps Newsweek to navigate the fast-moving news cycle and digital demands while ensuring fair and factual reporting is paramount.
Roberts previously helped to lead the transformation of The Times and The Sunday Times of London from a print-based approach to digital first. He has more than 15 years' experience in website and newspaper editing. Before joining The Times in 2015, he worked at the Daily Mail after graduating from Oxford University.

Newsweek Advisory Board member David Wan is currently a member of the Board of Directors at Harvard Business Publishing and a Member of the Board of Governors at Yale University Press. He is also a board member of two new digital content businesses, Audily and CERTD. Wan served as Chief Executive Officer for Harvard Business Publishing for nineteen years and is credited for having transformed the organization into a global leader in the practice of management.
Previously, Wan served as president of the Penguin Publishing Group and before, president of K-12 Publishing Group, Simon & Schuster's umbrella group for elementary and secondary education operations. He held a number of senior positions at Simon and Schuster, including executive vice president. Prior to entering the publishing and media industry, Wan held management positions in consulting and finance at Arthur Andersen (now Accenture), PepsiCo and Paine Webber. A native of New York City, he has an M.B.A. from Harvard Business School and a B.A. in engineering and applied science from Yale University.

Dayan Candappa is a career journalist and media executive who has built award-winning editorial teams and led the transformation of publishing businesses in Asia, Europe, the Middle East and the United States. Candappa has played a key role in turning a storied print magazine into a digital powerhouse.
Candappa took the lead in executing the new CEO's strategy of "Digital First," which puts data at the heart of the newsroom, the building of new content sales, and in licensing businesses. Working with Newsweek's editors, he helped create the magazine's first new franchises in at least a decade, including "The Debate" podcast and opinion pages, and "Newsweek Next," which focuses the magazine's deep heritage of curation and analytical reporting on disruptive technologies. The rapid audience and revenue growth that resulted helped the CEO spin off Newsweek as an independent company for the first time in nearly 60 years.
Candappa began his international career as a stringer covering the civil war in his native Sri Lanka for Reuters. Over the next 16 years he reported on and directed coverage of major stories on six continents including wars, disasters, markets, financial crises and diplomacy during postings in New York, London, Singapore, Dubai and Sri Lanka. Dayan built award-winning news teams and their work has won a dozen journalism prizes, including Reuters' first ever Pulitzer Prize for print media.
When Thomson purchased Reuters in 2008, Candappa managed a key piece of the integration, restructuring content for the foreign exchange, loans and credit markets-supporting more than $2 billion in revenue-during the financial crisis. He delivered new products for consumer businesses and for professional audiences in the financial and legal markets, becoming the lead Reuters editor for Asia and then the Americas.

Josh Hammer is the Senior Editor-at-Large of Newsweek, where he also hosts "The Josh Hammer Show" podcast and syndicated radio show and writes a weekly newsletter, "The Josh Hammer Report." He joined Newsweek in May 2020 and previously oversaw the expansion of Newsweek's opinion section, which helps fulfill Newsweek's mission statement by platforming the full diversity of political viewpoints on a daily basis.
Josh is also a syndicated columnist through Creators Syndicate, host of the "America on Trial" podcast for The First, a fellow at the Edmund Burke Foundation and the Palm Beach Freedom Institute, and a popular campus speaker.

Newsweek advisory board member Suraj Srinivasan is the Philip J. Stomberg Professor of Business Administration and Head of the Accounting and Management Unit at Harvard Business School, and the Chair of the schools executive programs for corporate boards of directors. He is also the chair of Digital Value Lab at Harvard's Digital, Data and Design Institute and also a board member and chair of the audit and risk committee of Harvard Business Publishing, a global media and publishing business. He also serves on the Harvard University Information Security Risk Oversight Board. He is qualified to serve as an audit committee financial expert.
Dr. Srinivasan is a respected thought leader in the areas of business strategy, finance, data science, and corporate governance and has published over 125 research papers, articles, and business case studies on these topics. Prior to his academic career, Dr. Srinivasan worked in investment banking and founded and ran a chain of supermarkets and pharmacies in India.
