The project is co-funded by the European Commission (DG Research) under the NEST Programme of the 6 th Framework Programme for Research (FP6). The transnational consortium consists of seven (7) partners originating from: Greece, France, Russian Federation, Ukraine, Belarus and Republic of Moldova... The NIS-NEST Database (http://researchers.nisnest.gr) is a "pool" of potential partners, containing the contact details and the scientific interests of the researchers and organisations in the Russian Federation, Ukraine, Belarus, the Republic of Moldova and other Eastern European countries. It aims at assisting researchers from both EU and Eastern European countries in identifying counterparts in order to formulate consortia and jointly participate in FP7 research areas. The Database is accessible through the NIS-NEST website and will operate during and beyond the project's lifecycle...
