I am originally from Eastern Arkansas and grew up in Marion. I attended college at Freed-Hardeman University in Henderson, Tennessee, where I graduated summa cum laude with a B.S. in Biology and a minor in Chemistry. While in college, I met my husband Matt, who is a native of Chattanooga, Tennessee. I spent my next 4 years in Louisville, KY, attending the University Of Louisville School Of Dentistry, where I earned my DMD degree. While in school, I spent a summer doing an internship in Cherokee, North Carolina, working with Indian Health Services. During my senior year at ULSD, I was inducted into Omicron Kappa Upsilon, a National Dental Honor Society who selects students that have shown exemplary character, leadership, and scholarship. After dental school, I was accepted into a one-year residency program (AEGD) that brought me to Northwest Arkansas. I completed this residency at the dental clinic in the Fayetteville VA hospital, where I had the privilege of serving our nation's veterans. My program provided lots of additional clinical experience, from dentures to crowns to oral surgery. I have fallen in love with this part of the state, and I am happy NWA is now my home! Outside of the office I enjoy spending time with my husband and our little girls, Ella and Emmy. I also enjoy baking, traveling, and all Razorback sports (even though my husband is a Tennessee fan!). We also have a fun time playing Frisbee with our miniature schnauzer, Silas. I have thoroughly enjoyed my time at NWA Family Dental and l can't wait to continue serving my new and existing patients in the future!

I was born in Missouri and lived there until about age 13, when I moved to Fort Smith, Arkansas. I believe it was there that I first became interested in dentistry. I have always loved science and people, so dentistry was a natural connection between the two. In 1995, I graduated from Southside High School and then enrolled in the University of Arkansas, where I graduated with a B.S. in biology in 1999. After college I was accepted into the University of Tennessee College of Dentistry and graduated in 2003. After dental school, I did a one-year residency that specialized in and focused on high quality general dentistry (AEGD). While in Tennessee, I met my wife Claire while she was in Physical Therapy school. We were married in 2004 in her hometown of Dyersburg, TN, and then moved back to northwest Arkansas. I worked in an orthodontic office and a general dental office in the area. In the summer of 2006, Dr. Broyles asked me to join him in his dental practice in Fayetteville, Arkansas. I absolutely love dentistry and regularly take over one hundred hours per year of continuing education. This is five times the amount required by the state licensing committee. I am a member of and have been studying at The Kois Center of Excellence in Seattle since 2008. I am also a member of the American Dental Association (ADA) and the Arkansas State Dental Association (ASDA). Additionally, I am the President of the Academy of Interdisciplinary Dentofacial Therapy (AIDT) and I volunteer at the Fayetteville Free Health Center. When I'm not studying, I really enjoy spending time with my wife and our three children, Kate, Kinley, and Nicholas. They are the absolute joys in our lives. Besides family and church, we enjoy going to Razorback football, basketball and baseball games. Other hobbies of ours include hiking and canoeing.
