Andrew Ball

Andrew Walsh

Job Titles:

Since graduating as an Architect in 2020, Andrew has worked on various large scale projects in both Ireland and Australia in the healthcare, housing and education sectors. Since joining Oppermann Associates in June 2022, Andrew has been working on various healthcare and education projects to deliver high quality presentation and construction drawings.

Antoinette O'Keeffe

Job Titles:
  • General Manager
Antoinette is responsible for the overall day to day running of the office including monthly fee forecast schedules, credit control, supplier payments, Client liaison, tender submissions, digital marketing, diary management and ordering supplies for the office.

Dahlia De Macina

Job Titles:
  • Registered Architect
Dahlia joined Oppermann Associates in 2017. She is a fully qualified registered Architect, after studying in Genoa and London. She received her master's degree in 1997. She has over 20 years international experience as an Architect in Ireland, Italy and France. She works as part of team on a variety of projects mainly residential, education and commercial sectors bringing/adding a resourceful and enthusiastic understanding to the design process.

Daniel Fagan

Job Titles:
  • Graduate Architect
Since graduating from TUD Dublin School of Architecture in 2019, Daniel has worked on projects at varying scales. Some of these projects include food factories, office and pharmaceutical fitouts and one off housing. Since joining Oppermann Associates in March of 2022 Daniel has been working as part of the interiors team delivering high quality fit outs for projects including office, restaurant, and retail.

Daniel McFadden

Job Titles:
  • Registered Architect
Daniel is a fully qualified Architect who graduated from DIT Dublin School of Architecture in 2016 and completed his Post Graduate Professional Diploma in Architectural Practice, with honours from TUD in 2020. He is a registered member of the RIAI. Daniel joined Oppermann Associates in January 2021 and has since collaborated on a wide range of projects including educational, residential, and mixed-use developments. He is currently working on private residential and educational projects, and is delivering these exclusively through Revit. He has a holistic approach to design and is committed to delivering high quality, contemporary design solutions.

David McGoldrick

Job Titles:

  • Architectural Technologist
David is a fully qualified Architectural Technologist and has extensive experience in delivering educational and commercial buildings, with specific emphasis on schools in rapidly developing areas. He specialises in detail design and co-ordination of large scale projects. He has taken the lead in the implementation of BIM within the office, with specific emphasis on setting up office standards and protocols for the use of Revit.

Donal McDermott

Job Titles:
  • Architectural Technologist
Since graduating in 2017 from Dublin Institute of Technology, Donal has worked on various projects which include high density residential projects, commercial, student accommodation and hospitality. Donal has worked on the preparation of tender and construction drawings for all the above. Since joining Oppermann Associates in 2022, Donal has worked on numerous different educational projects in Leinster. These projects are exclusively being developed through Revit. Donal is very dedicated and takes pride in his attention to detail and the quality of his work.

Kevin Ball

Job Titles:
  • Associate Director
Kevin joined Oppermann Associates in 2004 after graduating as a Architectural Technologist from DIT Bolton St. In his time with the company he has worked on various projects from hotels, spas, large scale residential, schools and commercial buildings in Ireland and the UK. He has also completed a Post Graduate Diploma in Architecture: Advanced Environmental and Energy Studies and more recently a Post Graduate Diploma in Project Management. This work and educational experience has afforded him a wealth of knowledge of many aspects of the built environment and experience in delivering a wide variety of projects from conception to completion.

Lauren Phelan

Job Titles:
  • Interior Designer
Lauren is a qualified Interior Designer and joined Oppermann Associates in 2019 after she completed her degree in TUD. She then went on to receive her master's degree in 2020. Since joining, Lauren has used her skills and eye for detail to work on an array of projects as both a designer and 3D visualiser.

Liam Farrell

Liam is a fully qualified Architectural Technologist and joined Oppermann Associates in 2017. Since joining, he has worked on numerous projects in the office particularly in the educational and residential sectors. He has also assisted with the implementation of Revit and BIM standards.

Martin Keenan

Job Titles:
  • Associate Director
Martin is a qualified Building Surveyor with over 20 years experience in the Construction Industry. He is responsible for managing all our fit out projects, including office and restaurant fit outs and a variety of retail roll out type projects. Martin has a broad range of experience in project implementation, from inception through to final completion and handover with a track record of delivering projects on time and meeting our client's needs. He has particular expertise on completing all statutory applications and ensuring compliance with building regulations.

Martin Tiernan

Job Titles:

Since graduating from DIT and UCD, Martin has worked on a variety of project types including commercial, residential, educational, leisure and domestic, for both public and private sectors. He joined Oppermann Associates in 2015 and is a registered Architect with the RIAI and also an Architectural Technologist. Martin works as part of the team on a variety of project types and scales, with a keen eye for building design and detail.

Michele Sweeney

Job Titles:
  • Director
Michele has responsibility for design and in particular in relation to all of our leisure and schools work. Michele has in excess of twenty years experience in the design and implementation of large and complex projects both in Ireland and internationally. Over the last 13 years Michele has led the education and leisure divisions within the practice developing a specialisation in spas, high density and innovative residential solutions. Micheles' work on spas has been extensively published.

Morgan McDonagh

Morgan graduated from UCD School of Architecture in 2017 and completed his Professional Diploma in Architecture in 2022. He is a registered member of the RIAI. Morgan joined Oppermann Associates in 2022 and works as part of the team on a wide type of projects at a variety of scales including education, residential and mixed-use developments. He has a keen interest in delivering high quality, design focused buildings and projects.

Stephen Oppermann - Managing Director

Job Titles:

Stephen is one of the original founders of Oppermann Associates in 1995 and has a wealth of experience in dealing with all aspects of the lifecycle of architectural projects, from project initiation through to final completion and delivery on site. Stephen has considerable experience in the retail, commercial and shopping centres and has collaborated with some of the country's largest Clients including Dunnes Stores, Permanent/tsb, Eason, Department of Education and Skills and Eircom to name but a few.
