A Founder member of ORF, Baljit Kapoor had his earlier schooling in Punjab. Graduating from Punjab University, he took his masters in Business Administration from Faculty of Management Studies, Delhi University. During his professional career, he attended several Advanced Management programmes at, Staff College, Hyderabad and All India Management Association.
He had a long stint with the Times of India, and served it in variety of positions. He handled several internships in select European and American newspapers and attended International Newspaper conferences. He was Director, The Times of India, Delhi, when he left it in November 1989, to join Observer Group of Newspapers, as its Sr. Vice President.
He served as Director, Times Research Foundation and established Times Centre for Media Studies.
He has been a visiting Faculty at Indian Institute of Management and colleges of Delhi University, besides several Institutions offering communication courses.
He is widely traveled in India, Europe and North America.

Mr Atul Chandra, a Petroleum Engineer, joined India's National Oil Company, ONGC and reached the board level at a very young age. Besides managing oil field operations and establishing a technical research and development institute, he was responsible for the successful implementation of multi-billion dollar World Bank and Asian Development Bank Projects. He also managed ONGC operations in the North Eastern region of India during the worst period of insurgency and went on to establish the highest performance figures, records which still stand today. From 1975 to 1977, as Head of Production Operations with IMINOCO, a joint venture in Iran, with Phillips Petroleum, Agip, the National Iran Oil Company and ONGC, he was responsible for two offshore oil fields in the Persian Gulf. As Managing Director ONGC - Videsh, a subsidiary of ONGC, he turned it around into one of the top profit-making companies in India whose valuation rose from US$10 million to approx. US$10 billion, when he superannuated in 2004. He was responsible for India's highest multi-billion dollar overseas acquisitions, including Sakhalin - 1; the Greater Nile Oil Project, Sudan, at that time.. He also resolved serious contractual issues for the Nam Con Son Project, Vietnam.
Post superannuation, he assumed the charge of President International Operations with Reliance Industries Ltd and in a very short span of time, the company has been able to commence petroleum exploration projects in a number of countries, He has served Oil Industry for over 46 years.
