Dawn is from Canada and has worked in Hong Kong for over 18 years. She has a Ph.D. in Industrial-Organizational Psychology from the Chinese University of Hong Kong and a Master in Social Sciences in Applied Psychology from the City University of Hong Kong. Her interests and areas of expertise are in culture, creativity, and personality in the workplace.
Before becoming a professional psychologist, Dawn began her career as a creative professional and entrepreneur in the fashion and publishing industry. Within both the psychological and creative fields, she has proven experience in successfully working closely and collaborating with national and multinational clients across industries and cultures.
Dawn has strong skills in project management, client relationship management, communication, and organization. She is experienced in conducting empirical research and is accredited in the Hogan Assessment and Occupational Personality Questionnaire (OPQ). She also holds professional certificates in Neurobehavioural Modelling in the Science of the Art of Coaching (SAC), the Science of Happiness at Work - the foundations of happiness, mindfulness and resilience to stress, and empathy and emotional intelligence at work, and Improving Your Business Through a Culture of Health. Lastly, Dawn is a Mental Health First Aider (MHFA). She is certified in identifying, listening, communicating, and assisting individuals at risk or experiencing mental health issues.
Since 2018, Dawn has worked with Pathways Limited where she has contributed to the research, product development, and branding and marketing of career partner services and training events.
