Palcare was created in 1993 to offer a new kind of flexible, nurturing education and care, night and day, seven days a week! Today Palcare is a non-profit school and child care center that serves over 200 families of all income levels. Through an excellent faculty, a rich environment, cutting edge educational practice, and active parent involvement, Palcare prepares young children from 3 months to five years of age for success in Kindergarten and beyond. Palcare is a nonprofit 501(c)(3) community organization governed by a volunteer Board of Directors composed of community leaders, child development professionals and parents of children enrolled at Palcare. Our funding comes from tuition paid by parents, the San Francisco Airport, corporate partners, the California Department of Education, foundations, fundraising and the generous donations of individuals... Palcare has one of the largest infant care programs..
