PAYNE BOUCHIER - Key Persons
Ann says she is a "Midwest gal learning to love New England". She moved to the Northeast from Chicago eight years ago. Ann worked as an architect and owned her firm before deciding to shift her talents to construction management. She joined Payne|Bouchier in the spring of 2021 as a project manager and brings a strong work ethic and exemplary organizational skills to her projects. She holds a Masters Degree in Architecture from University of Illinois at Chicago/University of Pennsylvania, and an undergraduate degree in German and Economics from Duke. She enjoys cooking, travel, yoga and New York City and creates digitally printed wood furniture and home décor. She has two grown sons of whom she is very proud. She resides in Hingham, MA.
Boyd began working at Payne|Bouchier in 2015. His vast trade knowledge, strong organizational skills and communication make him an excellent Project Manager and a valued employee. He lives in the Greater Boston Area with his wife.

Christian has been with Payne|Bouchier since the summer of 2017. He is a dual citizen, being born in Florida, raised in England and moving back to Florida before migrating to the North East. Christian spent time in New Hampshire prior moving to Boston to attend and graduate from The North Bennet Street School. His craftsmanship and attention to detail is a valued trait here at Payne|Bouchier. He has a 6 years of carpentry experience and has been a site supervisor with us for over a year now. Christian enjoys weekends playing golf or cricket and time with friend and family in Massachusetts and New Hampshire.

Josh started his career at Payne|Bouchier in 2002. He has been a project manager with us for well over a decade. Josh started as an apprentice in his late teens with P|B, quickly becoming a carpenter and a few years later, a project manager. Josh's vast trade knowledge, solid organizational skills and communication make him a valued addition to any project. He lives in Hyde Park with his wife and two daughters.

Lee Reid lives in Essex on the North Shore. She earned her degree from the School of Natural Science at Hampshire College in Western Massachusetts. Lee used to work in film doing programs for NOVA, "The Voyage of the Mimi" series, and the National Park Service. She has taught Earth Science and Biology, as well as worked in the publishing industry. Starting out with P|B on the site side over 15 years ago, Lee has slowly migrated into her current position as the Chief Executive. She has two adult children and a grandchild.

Megan is originally from the CNY area. She started working at Payne|Bouchier fresh out of art school to learn the art of cabinet-building. Having spent the ensuing years learning the ins and outs of construction, she is currently responsible for estimating and management at P|B. She lives in Dorchester with her husband and baby girl. In her free time she enjoys producing sculpture (megangoltermann.com) and mountain biking.

Mich has been with Payne|Bouchier since 2002. They joined us after graduating from MassArt with a BFA in Industrial Design. With a love of functional design, they shifted their focus from product design to architectural design by joining our team. Being a team player, they find inspiration working with architects and designers on our projects. Their ingenuity and outside-the-square thinking brings creativity to all projects they're a part of. Additionally, Mich holds an Associate's Degree in Graphic Design and oversees the design of our advertising, print and social media. Mich is a surrealist artist, who has shown their work locally and is a furniture designer, working primarily with upcycled and reclaimed materials. They spends their spare time creating art, playing sports with their kid, doing CrossFit and hiking. They reside in Roslindale with their partner, kid and pets, dogs Stella and Josie and cat Peter.

Born in San Francisco Myles also lived in St. Louis and New Jersey before landing in Braintree where he currently resides. After graduating from the College of the Holy Cross Myles spent the first part of his career in the hotel/restaurant business, at one point, owning a 200 year old restaurant/bed & breakfast. Myles has been with Payne|Bouchier for 22 years. After a brief stint as a P|B carpenter, he became a Project Manager and has been involved in numerous flagship projects for the company. Myles has 4 grown children and, along with his wife Kathy, is enjoying life as an empty-nester. Myles is a certified basketball referee who, on weekends, can be found prowling the courts around the South Shore. He is also an avid (but not very good) golfer who loves cooking for family and friends.
Oliver Bouchier is one of the founding partners of Payne | Bouchier. He was born in London, England where he cultivated his affinity for fine design and the traditions of British craftsmanship. With a keen understanding of the building crafts and his own expertise as a carpenter, he lends valuable insight to the construction process. Strong commitment to client service is important to him. He enjoys staying in touch with the particulars of each project. Oliver is an active member of the building and design community in Boston. He is also a sculptor of wooden rocking horses.
Paul graduated with a Business degree from Merrimack College. He worked in public accounting and project management for Raytheon, and spent many years in the Hi-tech industry, managing the domestic sales for NECX and then owning his own company for over 15 years. He worked for Payne|Bouchier for 2 years in the early 1990's, returning in 2013 to work in the Finance Department. Paul enjoys spending time with his family, playing hockey, working out with his wife and staying active. He resides in Beverly, MA with his wife and their 3 kids.

Steve Payne is a founding partner of Payne|Bouchier, Fine Builders. He departed Hampshire College after studying millwork/cabinetry and acquired an encyclopedic knowledge of the history and methodologies of woodworking. Steve has a real passion for building and a keen eye for details. He brings thoughtful insight to all projects he is part of. A passionate rock climber, he spends his free time dangling precipitously in Grand Teton National Park.
Steve has worked with Payne|Bouchier since 2004. He went to Bridgewater State University and has nearly 30 years of experience in the construction industry. Joining us as a site supervisor, he quickly moved into a role as project manager. Being a seasoned project manager, his ability to adapt to the unique challenges each project brings is an invaluable resource. Steve spends his free time playing golf, coaching baseball, softball and football. He lives in Easton, Ma with his wife and his twins.
