Ariana D. Buchanan

Dr. Buchanan sees selected new complex patients by specific referral from a current care provider (often a clinical geneticist, autonomic cardiologist, neurologist, gastroenterologist, hematologist, allergist-immunologist) who requests her input and assistance with their patient's evaluation and management via a referral letter supported with previous records.

Diane O'Connor

Diane O'Connor, who joined Peachtree Allergy in September 2021, has been a board-certified Family Nurse Practitioner since 2007. Her focus on adult and pediatric Allergy-Immunology is complemented by additional experience in other outpatient settings. She graduated from the University of South Alabama in 2000 with her Bachelor of Science degree and in 2006 with her Master of Science in Nursing degree. Diane was born and raised in Los Angeles and maintains family contacts on the west coast. She lives in Newnan and has one adult daughter living nearby. In her time off, she enjoys travel, theatre, and all types of shopping. She speaks simple conversational Spanish and has enjoyed the opportunity to volunteer at Healing Bridge in Peachtree City over the past 16 years. She enjoys helping and making a positive difference-no matter how large or small-in the lives of patients through partnering with them in their healthcare journey.

Dr. Amy H. Hirsh

Dr. Amy H. Hirsh is a native of Pennsylvania. Initially she came to Atlanta to receive her B.S. at Emory University but fell in love with Atlanta and decided to make it her home. She attended Jefferson Medical College of Thomas Jefferson University and then returned to Atlanta to attend Emory University where she completed her residency in Internal Medicine and her Allergy and Immunology Fellowship. She has been in practice with Peachtree Allergy and Asthma Clinic, P.C. since 2000. She is a Board certified Allergist and Immunologist and a Fellow of American College of Allergy, Asthma and Immunology and a Fellow of the American Academy of Allergy, Asthma and Immunology. When not practicing medicine, Dr.Hirsh's interests are focused on spending time with her husband and son. They enjoy bicycling, skiing, swimming, hiking and spending time with their two dogs. She practices in the Buckhead and Vinings office locations.

Dr. Donald C. McLean

Dr. Donald C. McLean graduated from Williams College with honors in chemistry and from Cornell University Medical College; his internship and residency training were completed at the New York Hospital, Cornell University Medical College. He then served in the United States Air Force as Chief of Pediatrics at the 36th Tactical Fighter Wing hospital, Bitburg, Germany, where he became interested in allergy/immunology and completed a fellowship in allergy at the University of Virginia. After completion of the program, he began practice at the Lowance Clinic in Atlanta. Dr. McLean founded Peachtree Allergy Clinic in 1973 on the campus of Piedmont Hospital. During the following 40 plus years, he practiced allergy/immunology, assumed leadership roles for several national and regional allergy associations, and spent over 30 years on the clinical faculty of Grady Hospital and Emory University Medical School of Medicine. After a few years of retirement, he rejoined Peachtree Allergy and Asthma Clinic as an emeritus physician. Additionally, he volunteers as a physician with the Salvation Army. He enjoys many activities with his wife, Sondra, 6 children and 12 grandchildren.

Dr. Theodore M. Lee

Dr. Theodore M. Lee joined Peachtree Allergy and Asthma Clinic in 1994. His prior professional responsibilities include serving as Training Program Director and Section Head of Allergy-Immunology at Emory University School of Medicine. Dr. Lee has been an investigator in numerous asthma and allergy research studies. He has authored several book chapters and scientific papers regarding treatment of asthma and other immunologic disorders, and serves on the Mast Cell Disorders Committee of the American Academy of Allergy, Asthma, and Immunology.
