Dr Edmund Wee

Dr Edmund Wee is a consultant dermatologist and Fellow of the Australasian College of Dermatologists. He completed his medical degree with honours at Melbourne University and undertook dermatology specialist training in Victoria. During his training, Dr Wee was awarded the Harvey Rotstein award by the Victorian Faculty of the Australasian College of Dermatologists for personal and professional excellence as well as dedication to patient care. He has published numerous articles in peer-reviewed journals and completed a Masters of Philosophy researching the anatomic distribution of Melanoma at the Victorian Melanoma Service. For this work he received the F & E Bauer Foundation Prize for best research paper at the Australasian Dermatology Annual Scientific Meeting. Prior to relocating to Perth, he held appointments at the Royal Melbourne Hospital and Monash Health as a consultant dermatologist. He continues to be involved in teaching and training registrars through the Skin Health Institute in Victoria. Dr Wee is a general dermatologist with a wide range of interests including skin cancer management, acne, rosacea, psoriasis and eczema.

Dr Graham Thom

Dr Graham Thom is a Specialist Dermatologist with a subspecialty interest in Mohs Micrographic Surgery, alongside a broad dermatology practice including skin cancer, medical dermatology and paediatric dermatology. Dr Thom completed his undergraduate studies in Medicine at the University of Western Australia in 1997 and shared the AMA prize for the highest overall grades in his year group. He then worked for 5 years in a range of general medical hospital positions, before turning his attention to dermatology specialisation in 2003. He completed specialist training and achieved fellowship of the Australasian College of Dermatologists in 2006, winning the Founders' Medal in procedural dermatology. Dr Thom undertook further sub-specialty fellowship training in Mohs Micrographic Surgery in 2011. He has steadily built his Mohs surgery practice since then and is on the Australasian College of Dermatologists' register of accredited Mohs Surgeons. Whilst Mohs Surgery and skin cancer are sub-specialty interests, Dr Thom maintains a broad dermatology practice and sees patients of all ages with the entire range of dermatological conditions. Alongside his private practice Southbank Dermatology, Dr Thom has been a consultant dermatologist at both Royal Perth Hospital and Princess Margaret/Perth Children's Hospital for more than 10 years. This has involved attending weekly clinics at both hospitals, and supervision and training of dermatology trainees and medical students. He has held the positions of Director of Training for dermatology in WA (2009-2011), Head of Department of Dermatology at Royal Perth Hospital (2013-2020) and is involved as an examiner in the national examinations for the College of Dermatologists. Dr Thom has also authored several papers in national and international dermatology journals and has been a regular reviewer for the Australasian Journal of Dermatology. Dr Thom is committed to providing a thorough and caring service in dermatology, skin cancer and Mohs surgery.

Dr Justin Bui

Dr Justin Bui is an Australian trained Specialist Dermatologist who completed a prestigious fellowship at St John's Institute of Dermatology in London after finishing specialist dermatology training in Western Australia and graduating from medicine at the University of Western Australia. During his training he was awarded the Postgraduate Medical Council of Western Australia's Junior Doctor of the Year Award. He was also the Chair of the National Trainee Representatives Committee at the Australasian College of Dermatologists. After completing his dermatology specialist training at tertiary adult and paediatric hospitals in Western Australia, he undertook further training by completing a fellowship in Medical Dermatology and Medical Education at the world renown St John's Institute of Dermatology at Guy's and St Thomas' Hospitals in London, UK. He was also appointed a Visiting Research Fellow at King's College London for his contributions to education and research in dermatology. He holds locum consultant positions at Royal Perth Hospital and Fiona Stanley Hospital where he continues to contribute to training of registrars and medical students. He has presented at national and international conferences as well as published in international journals. He believes in providing evidenced based, holistic and patient-centred care. He is currently an appointed member of the Guidelines Committee at the Australasian College of Dermatologists. He has special interests in inflammatory dermatoses (psoriasis, eczema, acne and immunobullous conditions), skin cancer and procedural dermatology.

Dr Shevya Tiwari is a specialist dermatologist and Fellow of the Australasian College of Dermatologists.

Dr Tim Elliott

Dr Tim Elliott, a Specialist Dermatologist, is the Principal of South Perth Specialist Skin Cancer Centre. He completed his Specialist training in 1991 and was awarded the Galderma Travelling Scholarship as the best overall candidate in the Australasian College of Dermatologists (ACD) Fellowship exams. He was also the recipient of the Founders' Medal as the top candidate in the Procedural Dermatology section of these exams. In 1994, he was awarded the Fellowship of Advanced Dermatologic Surgery from the prestigious Oregon Health Sciences University in Portland, Oregon, USA. Dr Elliott is committed to continuing professional development and regularly travels overseas to meetings, conferences and visits "state of the art" skin cancer facilities. As a result he has introduced many new acquired ideas and technologies into South Perth Specialist Skin Cancer Centre. Dr Elliott has multiple publications in both Australian and International peer-reviewed Dermatology journals. Dr Elliott has been an Associate Editor for the Australasian Journal of Dermatology (AJD) and has been an ongoing reviewed for the AJD. In 2016 Dr Elliott was awarded the Certificate of Meritorious Service by the ACD.
