The Hudson River Park Trust launched the Tribeca-segment reconstruction in summer 2006. Funded by the Lower Manhattan Development Corporation and the State and City of New York, the $100 million project is rehabilitating the piers and rebuilding the "uplands" (shore areas) from Houston Street to Stuyvesant High School, at the north end of Battery Park City.
