As a leading scientist in field, Wei has authored over 20 International academic thesis and he has been named as "Golden hand" by other experts and reported by overseas News Media because his contribution. He has also served as the leader of technology projects from Ministry of Posts and Tele-Communication, the China National Eighth Five-Years Plan, the 863 program of China and The Natural Science Foundation of Beijing, and his team honored with various National awards. Wei is one of the foremost scientists of POF Communication System research in China.
