Dominique Barrera

Dominique is a third-generation Conch, born in Key West in the early '60s. Her father worked for the Navy at Boca Chica Naval Station and when she was eight years old he accepted a job transfer and moved the family to Naples, Italy for five years; five very enlightening years. While overseas, Dominique's mother realized her love of travel and hauled the family all over Europe. The languages… food…people…architecture…it was all fascinating and left a lasting impression. After returning to the states and graduating from Key West High School, Dominique tried different jobs and lots of travel. She worked as a library book cataloguer in Williamsport, Pennsylvania, and as a commercial scuba diver in Guam. She was a partner in Garden Cottage, Key West, a fabulous retail destination that was in operation for eight years. For the past 12 years, Dominique has been working full time as a Professional Realtor. Committed to her career, Dominique has served as Education Chair for the 2008 Board of Realtors, Executive Committee Secretary in 2009 and President-Elect for the 2011 Board of Realtors and as sitting President in 2012. Jeffrey Grosky

Prior to relocating to Key West over 20 years ago, Jeffrey Grosky was a leading manufacturer in the apparel industry in New York City. Jeffrey set out to retire in Key West. After boredom set in, he took a sales position in Fast Buck Freddies, affectionately know by the locals as the Bloomingdales of the Keys. What started out in the beginning as a part-time job, soon became a managerial career that spanned 17 years, until the main store closed. Not ready for the sidelines just yet, Cory Held, my life long friend, asked me to team up and build upon her already thriving business. Reflecting on our history together, I knew it would be natural. So off I went and got my Real Estate license. With our combined knowledge of Key West and all the people we know together we should easily accomplish our goal.
