PROJECT IBOGA

Project Iboga is dedicated to guiding Iboga research. Our primary goal is for ibogaine and 18-MC, an improved analog, to go though complete U.S. FDA approved clinical trials in order to gain approval as a conventional treatment option for drug detoxification. While there are many capable individuals and institutions working on Iboga research and commercialization there isn't a central entity, like a for-profit concern continuously pushing through administrative road-blocks. Due to the marginalization of drug addicts and the uninsured poor these substances are basically orphan drugs, even though there are literally millions who could benefit from Iboga treatments for their drug dependence... We support the conduct of ethical research and the initiation of clinical trials to demonstrate its effectiveness as a potent healing modality and natural health product.
