Jewell Fortener's love of quilting started early on in life, with a particular love of Civil War reproduction fabric. For years, she pursued her passion for quilting n the evenings and on the weekends with an insatiable appetite that never seemed to be satisfied. Then, in 2007, Quilts R Jewels was established in an upper room of the Ohio County airport, where folks flying in and out of the airport, with wives in tow, started taking note of Jewel's quilting work... Quilts R Jewels has been sharing our love of quilting since 2007...and we adore it!
