RELATIONAL MATTERS

Our mission is to serve as a catalyst for building empathic, diverse, sustainable community in Melbourne and beyond. We assume that human beings have a fundamental need to strive together in collective action. In fact, the more we try to overcome complex problems by ourselves, the more we suffer. Our hope lies in our capacity to depend on each other and share responsibility for sustaining ourselves, our families, our environments, and our futures... To reverse the harms of social isolation, Relational Matters helps neighborhoods, communities and organizations to build skills for relationship. We are also a key partner in The Relational Movement, a culture-spreading project that supports communities to embrace values and practices organized around health, compassion, diversity, equity and sustainability... We build capacity for communities and organizations to relate effectively, creatively and compassionately.
