ROBIN HUTT

Robin has worked across Scotland with the Royal Scottish National Orchestra as an orchestral pianist and celeste player, and has appeared as a concerto soloist with the Scottish Sinfonia three times, performing the Grieg concerto, Rachmaninov's second concerto, and the Rachmaninov- Paganini variations. He has made further concerto appearances with University Chamber and Symphony Orchestras, with whom he has also played as timpanist and principal percussionist... It is a duty of the professional musician to pass on what they themselves have had the privilege of being taught. Robin is much in demand as a piano tutor, and is currently on the instrumental staff at George Watson's College and St George's School for Girls Edinburgh. He teaches all levels of pupils from the earliest beginner, through the ABRSM and TCL examination systems, to Grade 8 and Diploma standard pupils, University and College music students and adult learners.
