Letticia Callies

Letticia Callies is a Certified Aromatherapist at Rochester Clinic where she supports CHIP participants with stress therapy using essential oils, stress management techniques, and positive lifestyle changes. She also leads group classes that focus on enhancing the physical, emotional, and mental health of the individual through the safe and effective application of aromatherapy methods including the French method. Letticia focuses on identifying the nature of the issue in the context of the whole person and creates an essential oil therapy plan based on individual needs and preferences. She has worked closely with clients ranging from newborns to seniors. Letticia is NAHA level 1 certified and also serves as a Professional for the SE Minnesota Childbirth Network. Letticia has a Masters in Communication and worked for over 10 years as an instructor at Michigan State University. She developed an educational program that focused on building communication skills including conflict management, negotiation, listening, personal and professional development, and fostering positive relationships. She supported clients including the NBA and international professionals. She has brought these skills into her aromatherapy practice and implements effective communication skills to build positive relationships and to help shorten the process in identifying the nature of the issue presented. With the strong desire to be a motivational speaker, you can expect to feel inspired and motivated to stick to your wellness plan when you have Letticia as your aromatherapist. Letticia enjoys creating her own food recipes and browsing around in cooking stores. She loves unique mugs and a good health magazine. In her spare time, you will find her sipping tea and spending quality time with her husband and six children.

Mei Liu - CFO, Founder

Mei Liu, founder of Lotus Health Foundation and Chief Financial Officer of Rochester Clinic, earned her master's degree in Health Care Administration and MBA from Des Moines University and Drake University. Within her current role, Mei works to promote lifestyle medicine as the most effective solution for health care crises in finance, human health and the environment. Being a certified Complete Health Improvement Program (CHIP) facilitator, Mei and the physician team at Rochester Clinic first introduced this lifestyle medicine education program to the Rochester community in 2015. It was after witnessing the health improvement of more than 100 CHIP participants and realizing the need in the community that she founded Lotus Health Foundation, the non-profit arm of Rochester Clinic, in 2016. Mei is actively involved with community outreach and advocates for underserved populations to address health disparity. She also works frequently with local businesses and collaborative partners to grow health and wellness in the community. Outside of work she enjoys cooking and gardening.

Sara Persinger

Sara Persinger is a board-certified family nurse practitioner who is passionate about helping patients transform their health through lifestyle change. Sara utilizes a holistic framework to offer patients whole health solutions that address root causes of disease. Sara's approach to care is grounded in compassionate understanding and supportive behavioral coaching. Sara completed her bachelors of science in nursing degree from the University of Wisconsin Eau Claire. She was selected for the prestigious Summer III nursing externship at the Mayo Clinic in Rochester. As she was caring for patients at the bedside who were suffering from end-stage chronic diseases, most of which could be prevented through lifestyle change, she became determined to devote her time providing primary care services to help prevent patients from experiencing these tragic outcomes. She completed her Doctor of Nursing Practice degree at Winona State University followed by the Nurse Practitioner Residency Program in Family Medicine at the Mayo Clinic. Sara is a passionate believer that health transformation happens one choice at a time. Sara's clinical areas of expertise include addiction medicine, smoking cessation, behavioral health coaching, and family practice. When she is not in clinic, Sara enjoys spending time with her husband and five children. Sara enjoys volunteering with her church, tending her garden, taking walks in the outdoors, reading and needlework.
