Rucore is a social enterprise focused on connecting ecology to strategies for rural development and sustainability. Rucore works with global networks, foundations and social entrepreneurs to inspire communities, innovate and build capacity through long-term investment and mentorship programmes. Rucore also provides BEE services and tax incentives and partners with corporations and individuals in social and economic nation building projects... In South Africa today, some of our most pressing problems include those of material poverty, social and economic inequalities, environmental degradation and volatile markets. Since 1994 Tlholego has been pioneering local solutions to these challenges and is now helping to address these concerns in a greater context. Through its partnerships, Tlholego aims to further its technological advancement and capacity building programs in practical working real life examples of local community sustainability.
