Amy currently serves as a Registered Dental Assistant, and has been a member of the team since 2007. She enjoys all aspects of orthodontics: from changing the form and function of a bite, through correction, to creating beautiful smiles for all ages. She also takes pride in, and enjoys assisting special needs patients to ensure that they, along with their families, enjoy their orthodontic experience. Amy is a 6th generation Santa Ynez Valley resident, and enjoys spending time with her family in the Danish community.
Dr. Adam Swenson grew up in San Diego and received his undergraduate degree in Biochemistry and Cell Biology from the University of California, San Diego. He went on to study dentistry at Boston University where he graduated at the top of his class, receiving the Excellence in Patient Care award and invitation into the prestigious Omicron Kappa Upsilon dental honor society. Dr. Swenson completed his residency in Orthodontics & Dentofacial Orthopedics at the University of Colorado, where he also earned his master's degree, focusing his research on the temporomandibular joint. In his final year at CU, this research was nominated for oral presentation at CU's Research Symposium and was selected for publication.
Before returning west, Dr. Swenson practiced at one of the largest private orthodontic offices in New York, well-known for exceptional patient care. He directed the office's Invisalign program and also used the highest technology braces and techniques to decrease treatment time while increasing patient comfort. Dr. Swenson is grateful to be in a profession he loves and has pursued advanced training in Invisalign, lingual orthodontics, temporary anchorage devices and temporomandibular joint dysfunction treatment.
Believing that form follows function, Dr. Swenson loves helping his patients achieve both a beautiful smile and a bite that supports dental and jaw-joint health. He believes that patients should be educated about the orthodontic process and encourages them to take an active role in their treatment. Dr. Swenson aims to foster an office culture founded on humility and service such that patients enjoy their journey through orthodontic treatment.
Dr. Swenson met his wife Anna when they were both undergraduates at UC San Diego. They have one son, Ezra, and a beautiful newborn daughter Marie! In his spare time, Dr. Swenson enjoys digging "sand tunnels" with his son at the beach, spending time getting to know his newborn daughter, date nights with his wife, surfing the California coast, reading philosophy, hiking and being active in his church. Dr. Swenson loves meeting new people and looks forward to helping you achieve a personalized smile that you will love.
An esteemed member of the orthodontic community, Dr. Trigonis is an active member of many leading dental and orthodontic organizations, including the American Association of Orthodontists, Pacific Coast Society of Orthodontists, California State Society of Orthodontists, American Dental Association, California Dental Association and the Santa Barbara-Ventura County Dental Society. He cares very much about delivering quality care to his patients in a fun and caring atmosphere.

Dr. Edstrom is an active member of the American Association of Orthodontists, the Pacific Coast Society of Orthodontists, the California State Society of Orthodontists, the American Dental Association, the California Dental Association and the Santa Barbara-Ventura County Dental Society.
In his free time, Dr. Edstrom enjoys cycling, hiking and spending time with family and friends. He is eager to apply his knowledge and 20+ years of experience in orthodontics to care for you or your loved one.
Iliana has been our Lab and Sterilization technician for almost 10 years. She specializes in all aspects of the laboratory, from diagnostic casts to maintaining a sterile environment for our patients and staff. She is always willing to lend a helping hand with any task given to her. When not at the office, she enjoys spending time with her family.
Lindsey loves being a part of the team at Drs. Edstrom & Trigonis and enjoys helping the doctors create beautiful, healthy smiles for their patients. In her spare time she enjoys staying active, especially outdoors, taking advantage of the perfect Santa Barbara weather.
Lynn has been at the office of Drs. Edstrom, Trigonis & Swenson for 26 years. She holds credentials for both Registered and Certified Dental Assistant and has worked as a chairside orthodontic assistant as well as a treatment coordinator during her career. Her passion and knowledge of the field of orthodontics is the driving force behind her commitment to the practice. In her spare time, she enjoys watching her daughter play volleyball, exploring the many hiking trails Santa Barbara has to offer, and creating lots of memories with family and friends.

Maria is a Certified Dental Assistant. She enjoys being part of such a hard working team and interacting with all the wonderful patients that visit the practice. In her spare time Maria loves spending time with her 3 year old son Allen. She also enjoys reading, especially Harry Potter books, and spending time with friends.

Nancy began working in the practice 37 years ago as an intern. She later became an RDA/CDA and is now the Office Manager-Financial Coordinator. Nancy's urge to help people guided her into dentistry. She gains a sense of satisfaction when she is able to assist patients in choosing the right payment plan and maximizing their insurance coverage, when applicable. She cannot imagine working in a different field or a better practice. The best part of Nancy's job is seeing the transformation of each patient's smile and knowing that the office had a role in bettering that person's life. In her spare time she enjoys spending time with her family and friends, and traveling.
Nicole is the first face you see smiling at you when you walk through our front door. She has been a part of the team for over a year and loves greeting each person that walks into the office with warmth and joy, making them feel welcome and comfortable. Nicole loves being a part of the team as she feels her coworkers are like her extended family. In her spare time, she enjoys getting together with family and cooking. She especially enjoys going on family trips and spending time with her husband and two beautiful daughters.
Veronica currently serves as our administrative assistant and has been a member of the team since 2009. Veronica is full of smiles and loves developing relationships with patients and their families; she has a knack for remembering and noticing the little details in their lives that distinguish each patient. She feels blessed to be able to work with an amazing team that truly feels like family.
