Coleen C. Kryst

Ms. Kryst joined Salvo Rogers Elinski & Scullin in January of 2020 and is actively involved in all aspects of estate planning and administration. Prior to joining the firm, Ms. Kryst served as a law clerk for multiple Judges in the Montgomery County Courts. She initially began her career in the Montgomery County Court of Common Pleas where she served as the law clerk to the Honorable Bernard A. Moore. Upon obtaining her L.L.M. in Taxation, she transitioned to the Montgomery County Orphans' Court where she clerked for several Judges serving on this highly esteemed bench.

Gail P. Roth

During her career, Gail has worked in a large and small law firms as well as in corporate and government legal departments on a wide range of legal matters, both litigation related and transactional from initial intake through resolution. Before joining the firm, she was the association manager of a national group of insurance defense attorneys responsible for administering the annual accredited education conference, as well as regional and international client development programs conducted throughout the year while operating a solo family law practice. She is trained in both mediation and collaborative law. Her experience as a civil litigator, handling commercial disputes, personal injury and family law cases enhances her ability to analyze issues clients present involving their assets and family dynamics. In her current position, she drafts pleadings and other filings for Orphans' Court and conducts depositions, hearings and presents oral arguments. Her non-litigation experience included preparing documents for residential and commercial real estate matters, contracts and settlement agreements which she draws upon in her current role preparing prenuptial agreements, family agreements and other custom contracts. She enjoys working through challenging issues arising in the administration of estates with unique or complex assets.

Karen Cosenza

Karen Cosenza has more than 30 years of experience in all aspects of the estate and trusts administration processes. She helps clients navigate through the probate process, gathers information on estate assets, prepares federal and state death tax returns, fiduciary income tax returns, inventories, settlement agreements and fiduciary accounts. Karen also assists clients with the trust administration process including trust accounting, trust tax returns, and other trust related documents. She is always available to meet the needs of the clients. Prior to joining the firm, Karen worked for various large Philadelphia law firms in a similar role, supporting estate and trust administration. Michael F. Rogers

Michael F. Rogers focuses his practice in tax and estate planning for individuals and businesses, as well as estate and trust administration. Mike has been appointed by various courts as a fiduciary in complex estate matters, and as the Guardian of the Estate of individuals whose affairs require his distinctive proficiency.

Michelle B. Scullin

Michelle Brennan Scullin represents large and small corporations, entrepreneurs, and family-owned businesses in commercial real estate and financing transactions. She advocates for her clients in matters involving complex commercial real estate acquisitions and sales, real estate financing, commercial leasing, construction contracts and general corporate transactions. Michelle frequently advises clients in the hospitality industry. She manages the purchase/sale, acquisition, development and management of full-service and limited-service hotels throughout the United States, as well as small and large shopping centers, from start to finish. Michelle has also served as counsel for a large, national retail tenant in the automotive repair industry, for which she negotiated leases for retail locations across the United States. Michelle has successfully negotiated franchise and management agreements on behalf of her franchisee clients. She works closely on their behalf with major national franchisors, including a global doughnut company and coffeehouse, on transitioning franchisees and resolving disputes. In addition, Michelle assists for landlords and tenants in retail, office, commercial and industrial leasing transactions. Prior to joining the firm, Michelle was a member of the real estate department at a large, full-service law firm based in Philadelphia. In addition, she previously served as a law clerk for the United States Attorney's Office in the Organized Crime Drug Enforcement Task Force and was a legislative intern for Rep. Geraldine Creedon in the Massachusetts House of Representatives.

Sarah Thorne-Miller

Stephen A. Salvo

Stephen A. Salvo focuses his practice in corporate transactional and securities law. He advises companies and their owners on a wide range of business law matters, including representing corporations in all stages of development. Steve regularly represents clients in securities offerings, business mergers and acquisitions, and other corporate finance transactions. Steve provides his clients with full-service solutions done correctly - without cutting corners - while remaining cost-conscious. He educates his clients about their options and always puts their needs first. Steve takes the time to understand his clients' goals and deliver effective strategies to accomplish them. Steve's background as an inhouse attorney gives clients a unique advantage. Prior to establishing the firm in 1988, Steve served as general counsel for a Philadelphia-based real estate investment company. In this role he was a law firm client, and he uses that experience in his daily practice. He has been in his client's position, and truly comprehends their priorities and concerns when working with outside counsel. Before working as general counsel, he served as a senior staff attorney at the Securities and Exchange Commission in Washington, D.C., and as an associate with a national full-service law firm based in Philadelphia.
