SYLVANIA SENIOR CENTER

In 1978 Sylvania Senior Center joined Sylvania Community Ser vices after being organized in 1974 as the Sylvania Action Interest League (SAIL), which met in a local church. Sylvania Senior Center was located at the Burnham building in the basement from 1978 to 2002. In 2002, the Senior Center moved to its current location at 7140 Sylvania Avenue. This ADA-accessible, senior-friendly facility was built by the City of Sylvania and Sylvania Township... Sylvania Community Services has been a non-profit serving the Sylvania community since 1976 when the City, Township, and School Board formed it. Since that time, it has impacted the lives of thousands of residents - young and old. SCS manages Sylvania Senior Center and Sylvania Child Care.
