SILHAVY CREEK FAMILY DENTAL - Key Persons

Born and raised in Indiana, Dr. John Gutterman first attended Saint Joseph's College in Rensselaer, Indiana. After graduating Summa Cum Laude, Dr. Gutterman then attended Indiana University School of Dentistry where he earned his D.D.S. Dr. Gutterman enjoys all aspects of dentistry, with a focus on implant dentistry, dentures, and root canals. Continuing education is a top priority for Dr. Gutterman as he strives to provide the best care for patients. In addition to working in the dental office, Dr. Gutterman is active with the Indiana National Guard as a Captain and Army Dentist. When out of the office, Dr. Gutterman enjoys time with his dog, Annie, attending hockey and cheerleading events with his two children, and loves a good family movie night.

Dr. Robert McBride was born and raised in Valparaiso Indiana and attended Indiana University Bloomington where he earned his B.A. degree and his D.D.S. Dr. McBride was influenced by his father who is an M.D. in Northwest Indiana to pursue a career in dentistry to provide best-in-class oral care and to give his patients a confident and radiant smile that will last a lifetime. Dr. McBride is committed to ongoing education, training, and professional memberships. Dr. McBride enjoys all aspects of dentistry but truly enjoys advanced oral surgery and endodontics.   Dr. McBride is committed to providing best-in-class patient care as the foundation of Silhavy Creek Family Dental as he engages, connects, and builds trustworthy relationships that extend beyond the chair. It is that approach that he believes sets Silhavy Creek Family Dental apart - empathy throughout the patient care journey.  When Dr. McBride is not in the office creating beautiful smiles, he enjoys spending time with his growing family, watching, and participating in sport as much as possible on the weekends. He also can be found enjoying a good book. Dr. McBride's team would describe him as patient, driven, passionate, proactive, joyful, knowledgeable, flexible. Dr. Virgil Lungu B.H., D.D.S. attended Wabash College. Dr. Lungu then attended Tufts US for an internship and McCracken University to learn his specialty in Implants. Dr. Lungu is committed to ongoing education, training, and professional memberships. His extended interest lies in wisdom teeth and implants. Among the day to day, Dr. Lungu enjoys being able to help patients achieve relief from painful dental issues, as well as restoring healthy smiles. Dr. Lungu is committed to providing best-in-class patient care as the foundation of our family practice. He engages, connects, and builds trustworthy relationships that extend beyond the chair. It is that approach that he believes sets our team apart - empathy throughout the patient care journey.  When Dr. Lungu is not in the office creating beautiful smiles, he enjoys spending time with his family and friends, as well as playing Halo online. He is also fluent in Romanian.
