Sherzer Insurance, a local, independent agency, was founded in Daytona Beach in 1979 by Marvin Sherzer. What began as a small auto insurance agency eventually grew into several agencies in Georgia, Kentucky, Oklahoma, and California. After eventually selling the agencies, Mr. Sherzer retired back to the Daytona Beach area, where he sold his original location to Jim Allender in 2008...
