SMARTTOTS

SmartTots is an IARS initiative to coordinate and fund research with the goal of ensuring safe surgery for the millions of infants and young children who undergo anesthesia and/or sedation each year. IARS works collaboratively with multiple stakeholders to leverage their collective resources in an effort to comprehensively address this important issue... SmartTots is a collaborative effort of the International Anesthesia Research Society (IARS) and an international group of leading pediatric anesthesiologists who are working to make anesthesia safer for infants and children... The SmartTots Steering Committee provides overall coordination, management, direction, and oversight of the initiative. It is comprised of representatives from the IARS Board of Directors. The Steering Committee oversees appointments to the Executive Board, Scientific Advisory Board, and Affiliate Advisory Council.
