After receiving her BS from Wheaton College and her MSN from Vanderbilt University, Certified Family Nurse Practitioner Ahna Economidis spent the past 22 years gaining broad based medical experience along with specialized training in medical aesthetics.
For the past 10 years, Ahna was the director of clinical services and medical esthetics clinician at SKIN Medical Spa. Previously, she also founded and served as the principal medical clinician at Nouvelle Medical Esthetics in Los Angeles, CA.
Ahna continues to be committed to achieving her professional goals and the highest clinical standards in the industry with SkinSpirit. As a student of the aesthetics industry, she strives to stay in the forefront of the newest and most effective technologies in skin care. Her clients recognize her as a highly skilled and thorough clinician, as well as a knowledgeable and approachable informational resource.
Ahna's favorite skin care products include SkinCeutical's Blemish and Age Defense, as well as Colorscience Even-Up and Sunbrush.
Outside of SkinSpirit, Ahna enjoys quality time with family and friends, traveling, dining and all things design related.

Alex Brown, RN, BSN, pursued a double degree in Psychology and Nursing from Washington State University, before becoming an Aesthetic Nurse Practitioner. With a focus on developing relationships with each patient alongside continued education, Alex takes the time to listen to her clients goals in order to provide them with a realistic treatment plan, tailored to them.
"I love what I do because I'm building a relationship with my clients to collaborate on enhancing your already beautiful self," she says.
Alex has also seen the impact of aesthetics on a personal level. "Botox in the masseters has significantly helped with my TMJ and clenching habits," she shares.

Amaris Murphy has worked in the aesthetic nursing field for over ten years as both a Cosmetic Injection Specialist and Plastic and Reconstructive Surgical Nurse. She graduated from the University of Washington with a BS in Nursing. Amaris began her career in aesthetics as a surgical nurse for a plastic surgeon where she enjoyed all aspects of the industry from surgery to injections to non-surgical options. She has received extensive advanced injectable training in BOTOX® Cosmetic, a variety of dermal fillers including Belotero, Radiesse, Juvederm, Voluma, Sculptra and Restylane Silk along with KYBELLA.
Amaris' number one goal is to help her clients feel better about themselves. She achieves this by creating a personalized treatment plan for each of her clients. This allows them to remain looking natural while helping to slow down the signs of aging. With so many different options in the industry, Amaris recognizes there isn't one tool that will work for everyone. She's passionate about working with her clients to find the right option that works with their own individual needs and desired outcomes.
In her spare time, Amaris enjoys spending time with her husband and three little boys. She also loves working out and enjoying all the things beautiful the Northwest has to offer.

Brittany Worrall, FNP, started her career in healthcare eight years ago. She traveled the country as a travel nurse before transitioning into aesthetic medicine. In her travels, she fell in love with the city of San Francisco, in which she now calls her forever home away from home.
An ANCC Board Certified Nurse Practitioner and a graduate of Georgetown University, Brittany has developed a reputation for delivering exceptional results for her clients with the objective of highlighting natural beauty.
She goes into work every day excited to promote self-love and confidence! She specializes in treatments such as Botox, Kybella, Coolsculpting, Ultherapy, filler and IPL.
When it comes to narrowing down her favorite treatment, she loves Botox. It's a quick treatment that yields amazing results! She loves the refreshed look it provides for patients.

Cara Fonteyne is a Co-Founder of SkinSpirit with over 25 years' experience in healthcare and medical aesthetics. Having been involved in medical aesthetics since the industry's infancy, Cara has seen tremendous growth. This has given her perspective on the trends in the market and allowed her to develop an intuition about the advancements of medical aesthetics.
Cara's expertise is in ongoing training and development of education and curriculum at SkinSpirit, with a focus on combining the science and artistry of medical aesthetics by using a global approach of combination therapy to yield the most effective and natural results possible. Together with Doctor Vistnes, Cara researches and tests treatments and products for their efficacy and potency before offering them to patients, ensuring that SkinSpirit's patients receive personalized programs using the most advanced technologies and formulations available today.
Born and raised in Calgary, Alberta, Canada, Cara earned her registered nursing degree at the Calgary Foothills Hospital in 1990. Her early experience in reconstructive plastic surgery and the burn unit taught her valuable techniques and healing therapies that she has incorporated into the development of training curriculum and patient care.
Cara moved to California in 1992, where she worked as a surgical nurse at Stanford Hospital. She has served as a preceptor for a variety of laser companies, training doctors and nurses in the latest laser techniques with a variety of laser and Intense Pulsed Light technology. Cara is considered one of the leading experts in all medical aesthetic therapies, including but not limited to neurotoxins, HA fillers, energy based devices like IPL/BBL, resurfacing, Ultherapy, etc.
Cara, who is the proud mom of two amazing sons, is an active member in the Society of Plastic Surgical Skin Care Specialists and is always up-to-date on the latest advances in plastic surgery.

Carly Crowther, BSN, RN, began her career performing injections and seeing pre and post operative patients, at a plastic surgery clinic, after graduating with a Bachelor's of Science from Seattle University in 2018.
Carly found that she loved medical aesthetics, because she's able to customize her treatment plans for each patient's individual anatomy and goals. Seeing her patients experience newfound confidence is especially rewarding.
When it comes to treatments, Botox is one of Carly's favorites. "I love how it can make patients feel more refreshed and confident, and still feeling like themselves", says Carly, who often recommends Botox for those new to the industry. She also enforces home care to maintain the best results between appointments.
When she's not helping patients at SkinSpirit, Carly enjoys spending time with friends, family or her sweet cat Finn, and going to visit her parents on Whidbey Island.

For Caroline Ruhl, NP, helping others feel comfortable and happy in their own skin is the biggest reward. Taking the time to listen and understand each patient's goals and concerns, she tailors each treatment to the individual, and is known for her ability to build strong, trusting relationships with her patients.
Caroline's career began at John's Hopkins University in Baltimore, MD, where she attended nursing school and received her Master in Advance Nursing Practice in 2019.
Today, she specializes in injectable treatments, finding that midface lifting and contouring in the lateral and medical cheeks in particular can address many different areas of concern.
When she's not helping patients at SkinSpirit, Caroline enjoys spending time with her family, including her German Shepherd and Labrador!

Aesthetic Nurse Specialist, Carolyn McEntee holds a degree in business management and a B.S. in nursing. Carolyn is very passionate about her relationship with her clients and values her ability to build rapport with them. What she loves most about her job is getting the chance to play a part in helping others feel beautiful and confident. One of her favorite treatments is Sculptra and its ability to have her clients feel and look their best. Outside of work, you can find Carolyn hiking with her golden doodle Charlie Pumpkin!
Catherine has been a Registered Nurse for twenty-four years, graduating with Distinction from San Jose State University in 1990. She started her career in pediatric nursing at Lucille Packard Children's Hospital. After years of nurse management in home infusion, she returned to her love of patient care.
Catherine has been an aesthetic nurse and skin rejuvenation expert for the last eight years, working with a multitude of the latest proven aesthetic treatments including Botox, Dysport, Juvederm, Sculptra, Voluma, IPL, Ultherapy, laser resurfacing and laser hair removal. Known for her gentle, compassionate techniques, honest assessment and extensive experience and skills, Catherine is sought after by clients worldwide. She has been on national television and enjoys mentoring other health professionals. Catherine works with her clients in a calm and soothing manner, to enhance their natural beauty while diminishing the effects of aging. She has a passion for encouraging a healthy lifestyle that promotes beautiful skin and a natural glow.
Outside of work, Catherine's passion is spending time with her family; husband of 30 years, three wonderful children and daughter-in-law. Together they love to sail, hike, bike and travel. Fun fact: She can ride a unicycle! Catherine's aspiration is to live life to the fullest while still appreciating its simple moments and pleasures.Recently she moved from California to the Seattle area and is looking forward to continuing her outdoor adventures in the Pacific Northwest.
Cody Lynn Bennight became a registered nurse to specialize in aesthetic nursing upon completing her Bachelor's in Nursing from San Francisco State University in 2016. Her background as a licensed esthetician since 2004 and her passion for skin health has driven her through advanced training in Allergan (Botox, Juvederm, Kybella) and Galderma (Dysport, Restylane) and even a different side of skin in the WOC (Wound, Ostomy, Continence) program at Cleveland Clinic.
Cody Lynn takes a holistic approach to skin health- and that starts at home. Home care is just as important as getting advanced treatments with SkinSpirit to take care of your skin and maintain what we can treat. One of her favorite treatments is laser resurfacing but she believes in multiple modalities to optimize results from each treatment.
Cody Lynn loves volunteering and educating her patients to help them show their inner beauty on the outside.
Courtney Newlin comes from a family of artists, athletes and animal lovers. Her background has shaped her into a down to earth and honest person with a full empathetic heart - and it shows in her approach to medical aesthetics. Courtney is always there for her patients. She also has drive and endurance to continue bettering herself through continued education.
Having received her Masters in Science, Family Nurse Practitioner degree from Samuel Merritt University (MSN), Courtney is now pursuing her Family Nurse Practitioner degree (FNP-C). She is also a Certified Aesthetic Nurse Specialist (CANS).
Next to toe injections, microneedling is one of Courtney's favorite "Glow Getter's". Microneedling is a great way to slough away the dead surface of the skin, turn over more collagen and help your favorite medical grade skincare penetrate deeper, all with very minimal down time.
"I love being an aesthetic nurse because I can help bring a vision to life," says Courtney. "The extreme attention to detail and finishing the puzzle is very satisfying to me. This career enables me to build a relationship with my patients and bring confidence and joy to their life."

After spending many years in the Operating Room as a Surgical Nurse, Debi Rian became an Aesthetic RN in 2004. She has been committed to enhancing her clients' natural beauty through medical aesthetics ever since.
"It [medical aesthetics] is an art form," she says. "We use products and technique to refresh curves and contours, to give lift and fullness, in order to slow down the aging process of the face."
An Advanced Aesthetic Injector and Laser Specialist at SkinSpirit Newport Beach, Debi has a gentle approach that helps her clients feel comfortable in the treatment room. She will listen to their concerns and help them create a plan to look their youthful best at any age. "I love to see my clients leave feeling and looking better than when I first met them," she says.
Dr. Leis is a skilled plastic and reconstructive surgeon with a passion for making the details perfect. Raised by two artists, she has honed her eye for the aesthetic and brings this focus to all of her patients.
Dr. Leis earned an Honors Bachelor's degree in Microbiology from Oregon State University Honors College, where she graduated Suma Cum Laude. She obtained her medical degree at the Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine, where she was honored for her commitment to education with the Nathans Distinguished Service for Mentorship and Teaching.
She then completed a six-year residency in plastic surgery at Loma Linda University, followed by a one-year fellowship in orthopedic hand surgery at the University of Southern California Keck School of Medicine. She is board certified in plastic surgery, with a certificate of added quality for hand surgery.
She lives in Orange County with her husband, a filmmaker, and outside of her commitment to her patients, enjoys working in her garden and travel.

Thomas P. McHugh, M.D., is an internationally recognized board-certified plastic surgeon. He has over 30 years of experience in aesthetic surgery. He earned his medical degree from Wayne State University in Detroit and completed his plastic surgery residency at University of Texas Medical Branch in Galveston, TX. He has been chief of Plastic Surgery at numerous hospitals.
Dr. McHugh is a member of many professional organizations including the American Society of Plastic Surgeons, Texas Society of Plastic Surgeons, Houston Society of Plastic Surgeons, and the Texas Medical Association.
He has won a variety of awards including America's Top Surgeons Award, Best Plastic Surgeon, and Patients' Choice Award.
