Smith McGehee Insurance Solutions represents most of the leading insurers directly and has access to any insurance provider through our relationships with select wholesale intermediaries throughout the world. The firm's successful partnerships with leading insurance companies are based on decades of credibility and creativity. This level of trust results in executive reviews of our submissions first and deployment of (limited) capacity to our clients on a priority basis. Acrisure has provided Smith McGehee with even greater direct access to more of the markets, which enables us to get better terms and conditions at a lower cost for our customers.
Smith McGehee graduated with a degree in Accounting from the University of Mississippi in 1967. He started in the insurance business in 1971 with a regional broker, Lawton Byrne Bruner. Smith primarily coordinated multi-national property and casualty programs and ultimately became a leading producer and one of the nine partners of the firm. Marsh and McLennan acquired LBB in 1986 and Smith became the head of Marsh's St. Louis office, handling over $250,000,000 in premium volume. In 1991, Smith left Marsh to form Huntleigh McGehee, Inc. By 2004 the agency was sold, having grown to over 100 professionals handling over $160,000,000 in premium. In 2009, Smith left Huntleigh McGehee, Inc. to form Smith McGehee Insurance Solutions.
In November of 2015, Smith McGehee Insurance Solutions joined Acrisure, LLC as an Agency Partner. Acrisure is the seventh largest (and fastest growing) insurance brokerage firm in the world handling about $35 Billion in premium comprised of about 1,000 locations globally. Each Agency Partner continues to operate independently under their original name and management, but is part of an international firm with vast resources. This partnership has enabled Smith McGehee to enhance the service we provide to our clients and prospects throughout the world and down the street. Jack Rowe graduated with a degree in Economics and Business Administration from Vanderbilt University in 1991. He began his insurance career in 1992 at Huntleigh McGehee, Inc. as a member of the Commercial and Risk Management Services teams. Jack became an Account Executive and Producer, developing his own book of business while continuing to service the agency's commercial clients. In 2004, Jack left HM to become a founding principal of Insurance Brokers of America, which was acquired by Wells Fargo Insurance Services as their initial St. Louis Branch in 2008. Jack continued at Wells Fargo St. Louis as the largest producer, managing a large book of business for nonprofit/social services, construction, and real estate clients. In 2015, Jack joined Smith McGehee Insurance Solutions as a Producer, bringing over his clients and shortly thereafter transitioning to his current role of Chief Operating Officer.

Jeff Schneiderman is a Senior Vice President and Agency Partner, with a national team of experienced employee benefits advisors who create greater value for employers and inspire individuals to become more engaged health care consumers. Jeff grew up in the healthcare industry, so he learned early on the importance of health care needs and what the benefits are to planning for the "what if". He started Summit Benefits Group (SBG) in 1996, which later grew into a successful full-service health benefits agency, with close to 200 business clients of all sizes and more than 1,600 individual customers. SBG was acquired by OneDigital in 2010. In 2017 Jeff purchased his block of business back from OneDigital and it was then acquired by Acrisure, LLC in that same year. Jeff has grown the block of business with great success through providing a high level of service and expertise to his current clients and potential new clients. Jeff prides himself on his thorough customer service and feels it's important to have good communication with clients. He works hard to customize each client program to meet their individual needs. As a lifelong St. Louis resident, Jeff enjoys spending time doing outdoor activities with his wife Jodi, and their 3 children. He received his bachelor's degree in political science from the University of Missouri at St. Louis.

Robby McGehee graduated with a degree in Computer and Informational Science from the University of Mississippi in 1997. Shortly after graduation, Robby pursued a professional racing career, highlighted by receiving the Rookie of the Year honor at the 1999 Indianapolis 500. Pursuant to his retirement from auto racing in 2004, he began working full-time in the insurance industry at Huntleigh McGehee, Inc. During his tenure at Huntleigh McGehee, Robby spent the majority of his time leading a team in the practice of risk management for a large international real estate developer. His expertise includes the assessment and management for land development, horizontal construction, vertical construction, and international risk exposures. He joined Smith McGehee Insurance Solutions as President in November 2011.

Bill Rowe graduated with a degree in Mathematics and Business Administration from Vanderbilt University in 1988. He began his insurance career at Marsh and McLennan as a Risk Analyst in the Risk Management Services Department, where he performed various types of financial analyses for Risk Management clients. Bill then became a Casualty Account Executive in the Risk Management Department, coordinating and managing large, multinational accounts. Bill joined Smith at the founding of Huntleigh McGehee, Inc. and eventually became the Chief Operating Officer. Bill continued producing and managing large, complex accounts at the firm until joining Smith McGehee Insurance Solutions as Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer in October 2011.
