Alexander L. Majors

Dr. Alexander Majors is a fellowship-trained hand surgeon who specializes in the hand, wrist, and elbow. Dr. Majors was born and raised in Fresno, California. After graduating from Bullard High School in 1988, he attended the University of California at Berkeley where he received an undergraduate degree in psychology before deciding to pursue a career in medicine. Dr. Majors completed medical school at Saint George's University and his general surgery residency at Dartmouth-Hitchcock Medical Center. He then completed a fellowship in hand and microsurgery at the University of Southern California in Los Angeles. Dr. Majors is a diplomat in the American Board of Surgery and a Fellow in the American College of Surgeons. He has obtained a Certificate of Added Qualification for Surgery of the Hand and is an active member of the American Society for Surgery of the Hand. Dr. Majors also served as a volunteer faculty member for the UCSF orthopedic residency program in Fresno. Dr. Majors, Dr. Benjamin Hendy, Dr. Erika Kuehn, and Dr. Julia Lee utilize a team approach to care for a variety of throwing and upper extremity athletic injuries, combining diagnostic imaging, surgical intervention, and outstanding on-site athletic training and physical therapy. They are the team hand surgeons for the Fresno State Bulldogs, The Fresno Pacific Sunbirds, and the Fresno City Rams. Dr. Majors specializes in disorders of the hand, wrist, and forearm, frequently treating acute or chronic injuries of the worker or athlete. As a native of the Central Valley, Dr. Majors enjoys a variety of outdoor activities including cycling, skiing, backpacking, and yoga. He spends most of his free time with his two children.

Benjamin A. Hendy

Dr. Benjamin Hendy is a fellowship-trained orthopedic surgeon who specializes in treating complex problems of the shoulder and elbow, including shoulder arthritis, rotator cuff tears, fractures, sports-related injuries, and shoulder instability. His expertise includes open treatments, shoulder replacements, and minimally invasive surgeries. Dr. Hendy graduated from The University of Utah in Salt Lake City with an undergraduate degree in biology. He then earned his Doctor of Medicine degree from Sidney Kimmel Medical College at Thomas Jefferson University in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. At Thomas Jefferson University, Rothman Orthopaedic Institute, he underwent his orthopedic surgery residency and shoulder and elbow fellowship. Connor J. Telles, M.D., is a Fresno native who is thrilled to be practicing in the Central Valley. Son of local cardiologist Dr. John Telles, Dr. Connor Telles is a board-certified orthopedic spine surgeon in Fresno, California. After graduating from San Joaquin Memorial High School, Dr. Telles attended Dartmouth College in New Hampshire. While at Dartmouth, Dr. Telles rowed on the crew team and studied abroad in Puebla, Mexico. In 2001, Dr. Telles graduated magna cum laude with a bachelor's degree in engineering. He then completed both his medical school training and orthopedic surgery residency at Yale University in New Haven, Connecticut. In 2012, Dr. Telles completed a spine surgery fellowship at Stanford University and St. Mary's Spine Center in San Francisco. In his free time, Dr. Telles enjoys mountain and road biking, water and snow skiing, hunting and fishing, playing tennis, and exploring the Sierras. His wife, Kristin, is a teacher. Devin R. Mangold

Dr. Devin Mangold is a fellowship-trained foot and ankle surgeon who specializes in nonsurgical and surgical orthopedic care. He is an expert at diagnosing and treating limitations related to traumatic, degenerative, or congenital problems of the foot and ankle. Through his diverse expertise and experience, he prioritizes shared decision-making in his recovery approach. After earning his undergraduate degree in biochemistry and molecular biology from the University of California in Santa Cruz, Dr. Mangold attended Wayne State University School of Medicine in Detroit, Michigan, for his Doctor of Medicine degree. He then completed his residency in orthopedic surgery at Mayo Clinic College of Medicine and Science in Rochester, Minnesota. Dr. Mangold then underwent an additional year of specialty training through a foot and ankle fellowship at MedStar Union Memorial Hospital in Baltimore, Maryland. Dr. Mangold specializes in a wide array of treatments, procedures, and techniques. Dr. Anirudh Sharma

Dr. Anirudh Sharma is a board-certified family medicine expert with fellowship training in orthopedic trauma. He specializes in nonoperative and interventional treatments as well as preventative care for a variety of bone, joint, and muscle injuries and conditions. Dr. Sharma earned a Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery degree from Government Medical College in Patiala, Punjab, India, where he also completed an internship. He continued his training with an orthopedic surgery residency at Dayanand Medical College & Hospital in Ludhiana, Punjab, India. Dr. Sharma spent the rest of his time in Canada doing additional training. He attended the University of Manitoba in Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada, for fellowship training in orthopedic trauma at the Health Sciences Centre before doing another fellowship at Concordia Hospital in adult hip and knee reconstruction. Dr. Sharma further expanded his training at the University of Manitoba Max Rady College of Medicine with a family medicine residency. Dedicated to using the latest and most advanced evidence-based conservative treatment options, Dr. Sharma is an expert in orthobiologics, steroid injections, acute fracture reductions, ultrasound-guided injections, and viscosupplementation for the treatment of arthritis. Dr. Beau Kalmes is a fellowship-trained primary care sports medicine doctor who specializes in providing nonoperative care for bone, joint, and muscle injuries and conditions. He is dedicated to using the latest and most advanced evidence-based conservative treatment options, including minimally invasive therapies and ultrasound-guided injections. Dr. Kalmes takes an individualized, holistic approach to patient care, and he is committed to providing his patients with the highest quality of sports medicine care possible. After obtaining an undergraduate degree in health science from Brigham Young University in Provo, Utah, Dr. Kalmes earned his Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine degree from Touro University Nevada in Henderson. He then completed his residency training in family medicine at Southeastern Regional Medical Center in Lumberton, North Carolina. Gopi Kasturi, M.D., is a board-certified physiatrist specializing in pain management and physical medicine and rehabilitation. After receiving his medical degree from Armed Forces Medical College in Pune, India, Dr. Kasturi completed his residency in physical medicine and rehabilitation at William Beaumont Hospital in Royal Oak, Michigan. He then went on to complete a research fellowship at Virginia Commonwealth University and Hunter Holmes McGuire VA Medical Center in Richmond, Virginia. In addition to neuromusculoskeletal rehabilitation, pain management, and acupuncture, Dr. Kasturi has a keen interest in osteoporosis. He has written and lectured extensively on this topic. Dr. Julia Lee

Dr. Julia Lee is a board-certified, fellowship-trained elbow and shoulder specialist in Fresno, California. Dr. Lee specializes in the latest techniques and procedures in elbow and shoulder treatment, including shoulder arthroscopy, shoulder and elbow joint replacement, elbow and shoulder fracture repair, and rotator cuff repair, to help her patients achieve their goals. Dr. Lee graduated from the University of California, San Diego in La Jolla, California, with a Bachelor of Science degree in biochemistry and cell biology. She went on to earn her Doctor of Medicine degree from Albany Medical College in Albany, New York. Following medical school, Dr. Lee completed her orthopedic surgery residency training with the Greenville Health System in Greenville, South Carolina. He currently serves as an assistant clinical professor at UCSF, Fresno. Francis E. Glaser

Dr. Francis Glaser is a board-certified orthopedic surgeon with subspecialty fellowship training in foot and ankle. Henry E. Aryan

Henry E. Aryan, M.D., F.A.A.N.S., F.A.C.S., is a board-certified neurosurgeon who completed a fellowship in the surgical and nonsurgical treatment of complex spinal disorders and neurospinal oncology at UC San Francisco (UCSF) Medical Center in the departments of Neurosurgery and Orthopaedics. A California native, Dr. Aryan received his undergraduate degree in cybernetics, with highest honors, from UCLA. Mark A. Sison

Dr. Mark Sison is a fellowship-trained physical medicine and rehabilitation and interventional pain management specialist. In his practice, he enjoys teaching, educating patients, and treating nonoperative conditions of the spine. Dr. Sison earned his bachelor's degree in physical therapy from De La Salle Health Sciences Institute in Cavite, Philippines. After receiving his medical degree from the University of Santo Tomas in Manila, Philippines, he completed his medical internship training at Riverside Medical Center in Bacolod City, Philippines. Dr. Sison then completed his preliminary internal medicine internship at Presence Saint Joseph Hospital in Chicago, Illinois, and went on to Rutgers NJMS, Kessler Institute for Rehabilitation in Newark, New Jersey, for his residency in physical medicine and rehabilitation. Dr. Sison completed advanced fellowship training in interventional spine and sports medicine at OSS Health in York, Pennsylvania. Michele M. Schulz

Dr. Michele Schulz graduated from University of California, Los Angeles with a Bachelor of Science degree in kinesiology. She earned her medical degree from the University of Southern California School of Medicine. Dr. Schulz completed her orthopedic surgery residency at the University of California, Irvine. Following this, she joined the faculty at the University of California, Irvine to practice orthopedic surgery and do research in the area of biomechanics of the knee. Dr. Schulz moved back to her hometown of Fresno to join Sierra Pacific Orthopedics in 2002. She is a member of the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons, the California Orthopaedic Association, and the Western Orthopaedic Association. She is board-certified with the American Board of Orthopaedic Surgery. Dr. Schulz's orthopedic practice is focused on sports-related injuries as well as adult reconstructive surgery, including hip and knee joint replacements. She has enhanced her practice by starting The Wellness Center at Sierra Pacific Orthopedics to aid patients in weight loss and offer non-invasive treatments for strengthening and toning the body.
