Anjili began her career in the graduate programme at Southern Cross Risk Management, in partnership with iTOO Special Risks. She has been involved in each of the various divisions during her internship where she has provided invaluable support to the teams. Anjili is part of the Professional Indemnity and Affinity Business teams where she provides support across all aspects of these divisions.
Busisiwe has over 10 years of experience in the insurance industry. She began her career as a retentions consultant before moving into Commercial Crime and Cyber insurance in both an administrative and underwriting capacity. She has also worked as a technical broker handling SOEs and municipal accounts. She joined Southern Cross in 2023 and forms part of the Financial Lines / Open Market team.
Cindy-Lee has over two decades of experience as a personal assistant and has effectively been providing exceptional support to the Managing Directors of Southern Cross Risk management since 2010. Her contribution towards maintaining relationships with clients and colleagues is admirable. Cindy-Lee's continued commitment to her career and to the company has made her a pillar of this organization.
Henning began his career as a legal officer from 2006 to 2013, dealing with recoveries and liabilities, and as a claims handler. He then started working in the credit insurance industry in 2014. He worked as a claims assessor at a leading specialist credit insurer and later moved into the role of credit insurance underwriter, further extending his knowledge in the field. Henning joined the Southern Cross Risk Management team in 2019 as head of the Credit Division, and also acts as the internal compliance manager.

Jessica completed her Bachelors degree in Marketing Management in 2018 whilst living abroad. In 2021, she made the career move into the Financial Services industry and began working at Southern Cross Risk Management where she leads the marketing strategy for the group, and is part of the Commercial and Personal Lines team. She also provides support to the Volume and Affinity strategy of the business.

- Director and Head of Short Term
Jimmy is a creative-thinking insurance expert with over 15 years of experience in the industry. Since 2008, his insurance and client services experience spans across various companies, such as BrokerNet and Trustco Intermediary Solutions. He is currently a Board Director and Head of Short-Term Insurance and Volume Business at Southern Cross Risk Management. In this role he is responsible for, and manages, other group interests, companies, and joint ventures in short-term insurance, with a focus on volume business, assist and loyalty.
John set up and headed a specialist Financial Lines division at a listed brokerage before establishing Southern Cross Risk Management in 2003. During his career he has been the broker and advisor to the likes of Standard Bank, Central Securities Depository, Strate, Peregrine, the Johannesburg Stock Exchange, the South African Futures Exchange (SAFEX) and the Bond Exchange. In addition to his managerial role, John oversees the Professional Indemnity and Financial Lines aspects of the business.
Lars was an Executive Board member at a listed Insurance Company until 2008, when he joined Southern Cross Risk Management as shareholder and Joint Managing Director. He served as the president of the Insurance Institute of Gauteng in 2007. In addition to his managerial position, he oversees the corporate and general liabilities broking and heads up the new business development and Affinity divisions. Lars has developed bespoke affinity programmes for numerous clients including Vodacom, Tarsus, SABOA, Autopage, amongst others.
Mia graduated from the University of Stellenbosch with BCom in Economics and Financial Management, as well as Honours in Business Management. She began her career in the investment management field, before moving to a role as client relationship manager for an asset management firm. In 2018 she decided to move to Johannesburg where she started work as an account executive for Southern Cross Risk Management at SC Wealth. In 2021 she began a new role as Group Accountant.
Natasha joined Southern Cross in 2017 and is an experienced account executive with an Associate in Insurance, ACII. Natasha manages and provides full support for a portfolio of Corporate and Commercial clients. She has a deep understanding of the insurance industry. Skilled in Working with Corporate Clients, Insurers, Customer Service, Claims, Underwriting, Corporate and Commercial Insurance.
Nicole has over 15 years of experience in the insurance industry. She joined Southern Cross in 2012, where she has played an instrumental role as an Account Executive for the FSP PI Facility. Nicole heads up the Professional Indemnity division where she is responsible for providing Professional Indemnity Insurance to Insurance Intermediaries and Financial Planners, as well as PI for other professions.

Nomsa joined Southern Cross in 2022. She has vast knowledge from her time as an underwriter specializing in liability and property insurance. Her roles have included all aspects of the underwriting process, including portfolio management, risk evaluation and assessment, pricing and wording negotiations. She is skilled in Risk Management, Property & Casualty Insurance, and Analytical Work.
