Struthoff Ranch is concentrating on breeding the highest quality registered Texas Longhorn cattle. Over the years, we have bred our females to great herd sires such as Habanero, Hollywood Chex, Dixie Goer, JK Sterling 262, SR Madden 552, Hubbell's Rio 007, SR Lexington 7118, SR Clout 466, and SR Waylon 8129. We are currently breeding our cows to three of our bulls. We are very excited to begin putting our cows to our newest herd sire, SR Claude 016. A homozygous Wild son of our SR Clout 466 out of the large-bodied SR Rio's Sofia 461, Claude measured 83" TTT and weighed over 2000 pounds on his third birthday. Our outcross herd sire, SR Vaquero Charlie 9124, is a well-conformed son of Del Charro out of the 87 3/4" TTT Magic Glory EOT 090. Charlie has a fantastic lateral horn set, and we look forward to seeing what he produces with our SR Clout 466 daughters. We are also trialing one of our herd sire prospects, SR Bacardi 151.
