The name is a combination of pub and gastronomy. Gastropubs have an atmosphere which is relaxed and the focus is on offering cuisine equal to the best restaurants in the area with accessible price points so they can attract frequent customers rather than sporadic diners who come on special occasions. We aim to bring people closer to the production of their food, both by incorporating local, regional and sustainably-grown ingredients, whenever possible, and by introducing folks to the people who make their meal possible.
