We believe that: Unequal access to a STEM education and the resultant limitations in STEM output are detrimental to society. A collaborative network of scientists, educators, and dedicated professionals working to make STEM more accessible to underserved communities will translate to social and economic benefits. Better awareness of STEM career possibilities and professional development will result in increased employment of STEM graduates and a reduction in burnout and complacency in society.
