I have grown up with Fld English Setters, added Red setters later on, then in 1972, I got a Gordon Setter instead of an Irish Setter & have never looked back... "Cheers", after earning both majors in the show ring in the spring of 2022@1.5 yrs & after earning her jh title, is showing signs of getting it together this summer with her friend Andrew Campbell. Working on energy controlled learning STF (steady to to flush), followed by Backing/Honoring, all on lead & now off lead. She even earned a 4th at a local Brit trial in walking Derby. As a ..... Good work! And hard work, too! Can you explain the energy controlled learning process? I'm wondering if it means what my love needs. (No slow or off switch .
