Antonio Del Valle

Tony directed risk management programs for various health care organizations prior to working with Ambulatory Strategies. As a surveyor for AAAHC, he is credentialed to be a survey team leader and perform Medicare Deemed Status surveys. These AAAHC surveys give Tony a unique perspective on various methods of approaching and documenting compliance. Tony is bilingual and conducts risk management and accreditation surveys throughout the United States, South and Central America. He has extensive experience in health system nursing services management through his work at a large Miami hospital system.

Lisa K. Barber

Job Titles:
  • Risk Manager
Lisa completed her licensed risk management training at University of South Florida. She has extensive background in ASC licensing and accreditation, policies and procedures, and compliance. She focuses on financial benchmarking, analytics, quality metrics, regulatory research and report preparation. In addition to knowledge of regulations of ambulatory surgery centers and office-based surgical practices, she provides research assistance to other team members in the field and sends communiqués to surgery centers on regulatory updates, trends on compliance issues, safety alerts, and maintains the client assessible SharePoint database

Patricia Keenan

Job Titles:

Pat's experience as administrator of surgery centers for over 20 years results in unsurpassed expertise in compliance, accreditation, staffing, materials management, quality improvement and risk management. As administrator of an orthopedic surgery center and a multi-specialty surgery center, she worked to grow the volume, decrease expenses and oversee the revenue cycle. Her depth of experience with both The Joint Commission and AAAHC accreditation programs has assisted clients in preparation as well as instilling a commitment to being prepared every day.

Richard A. Rauber

Dick Rauber provides consultative services and management support for Ambulatory Strategies. Dick is a former hospital CFO and national information systems consultant. With a Master of Science in Management degree from Crumner School of Business and Finance at Rollins College in Winter Park, Florida, Dick concentrates on finance, accounting, and analytics. He is a Fellow of the Healthcare Information and Management Systems Society and member of Healthcare Financial Management Association. Richard A. Rauber has over 30 years' experience in all facets of health care serving as hospital Chief Financial Officer, health care consultant, and healthcare information system business developer. Prior to joining Ambulatory Strategies Inc., he was a principal in a consulting firm serving the health and managed care industry. He has extensive experience with financial management, business plans, information systems operations, and strategic planning.

Sandra J. Jones

Sandra founded Ambulatory Strategies Inc. in 1995 following many years of experience in hospital and outpatient services executive management and development. Sandra's surgery center experience includes multi-specialty surgery center management at regional and national levels, financial analysis and project planning, surgery center development, hospital outpatient department (HOPD) surgery and procedure development and operational analysis, hospital/physician joint ventures, physician office-based surgery, surgery center design, licensing and accreditation. She concentrates on outpatient surgery financial and operational management, regulatory compliance, surgery center best practices, performance benchmarking, patient safety and efficient operation of surgery centers. She is licensed by the State of Florida and is Certified by the American Society of Healthcare Risk Management. She has a Master of Science in Management and a Master of Arts in Business Administration, is Certified in Healthcare Quality Management and is a Certified Administrator Surgery Center professional as well as a Fellow of the Healthcare Financial Management Association. Sandra is an accreditation surveyor and has served on the Board and committees of accrediting organizations. As a contributor to surgery center state and national publications, she has represented the surgery center industry at state regulatory planning and policy meetings. Sandra recently served on the Board of the ASC Association, the national professional and trade group for ambulatory surgery centers. Sandra is a member of the ASC Quality Collaboration Task Force, reviewing quality measure selection and making recommendations to CMS on quality metric selection. Sandra Jones brings an unparalleled 30 years of experience in the healthcare industry and has overseen or contributed to the successful establishment and development of over 100 ambulatory surgery centers nationwide. She concentrates on regulatory compliance, risk management, surgery center development and operational management of surgery centers. She is a nationally recognized expert on ambulatory surgery centers and HOPDs.

Tammy Rorer

Tammy's experience includes over sixteen years as an eye surgery center administrator and several years as a consultant to single and multi-specialty surgery centers. She is an accreditation surveyor for AAAHC and a certified professional in healthcare risk manager (CPHRM). She works with new surgery centers preparing for opening, licensing, certification and accreditation. Tammy provides on-site training at surgery centers, coaching best practices. Her experience in managing surgery centers provides exceptional value to clients, understanding their financial and patient experience objectives as well as compliance and patient safety goals. Tammy manages development projects, conducts audits and prepares clients for accreditation and certification, regardless of the accreditation organization selected by the client.
