Applied Ethics, Inc. (AE) is a nonprofit organization with the mission to seek ethical solutions to significant social issues through projects, education, counseling, and advocacy. As discussed below, currently, our primary program is an underground online school for young women in Afghanistan who have been barred from attending formal schooling based on their gender... While our concern with medical research ethics continues, more of our organization's attention is being focused on what we see as one of the great social/ethical challenges of our time: the search for peaceful solutions to serious conflicts. It is for that reason that we have launched Pax Populi, a people-to-people peacemaking..
