Dr. Adriana Sanchez, a proud Tucson native, earned her bachelor's degree in speech, language and hearing sciences and her Doctor of Audiology from the University of Arizona. During her clinical externship, she provided hearing healthcare services to Veterans at the Southern Arizona VA Medical center. During her studies, Dr. Sanchez received a grant from the National Institute of Health (NIH) to conduct aural rehabilitation research. This research focused on resilience in individuals with hearing loss and the effects of hearing loss on family members. She has co-authored two publications and is in the process of submitting another article on this topic. Dr. Sanchez has a passion for helping her patients (and their family members) break down barriers to communication, helping them hear better and improving their quality of life. She is ecstatic to be a part of the Arizona Hearing Specialists family.

Dr. Evan Davies received his Bachelor of Arts in Communication and Psychology from Michigan State University in 2010 and his Doctorate of Audiology from the University of Wisconsin-Madison in May 2023. Dr. Davies completed his audiology fourth-year clinical externship at the Tinnitus and Hyperacusis Program at Froedtert Hospital and the Medical College of Wisconsin in Milwaukee, Wis. He employs a patient-centered, biopsychosocial approach to the treatment of hearing loss and management of bothersome tinnitus, hyperacusis and misophonia. Prior to completing his Doctor of Audiology, Dr. Davies worked as a psychology and neuroscience researcher at the University of Michigan and Northwestern University. He has extensive laboratory training in neuroimaging and non-invasive brain stimulation methodologies. Dr. Davies has also co-authored several peer-reviewed scientific publications and conference posters. He is committed to improving the quality of life for all patients.

Dr. Gregory T. Swingle is a native of southern Arizona and has focused his career on providing high-quality, personalized hearing healthcare for each one of his patients. He received his Audiology Doctoral Degree from the University of Arizona and decided to complete his clinical externship at the Washington D.C. VA Medical Center. He then returned to Arizona where he worked as a dispensing audiologist in Phoenix prior to joining Arizona Hearing Specialists in 2009. Dr. Swingle married Kristi Hesse (another audiologist at Arizona Hearing Specialists) in 2017; they took over as owners when the founding director, Dr. Janis Gasch, retired in early 2018. The Swingles continually strive to provide the best hearing healthcare to all of southern Arizona.

Dr. Kelly Nguyen earned both her Bachelor of Science in Speech, Language and Hearing Sciences and Doctorate of Audiology from the University of Arizona. She spent the last year of her graduate degree program as a full-time student extern at the Southern Arizona VA Health Care System, serving those who have served.
Kelly's love of hearing healthcare began at a young age as her grandfather was an ear, nose and throat doctor (ENT). When she visits her family at home in Southern California, she enjoys discussing new technology and best practice with her grandfather and lovingly reminding him to wear his hearing aids.
Dr. Nguyen recognizes the potential psychosocial impact of hearing loss on individuals and their communication partners, and she is passionate about educating others about hearing health so that they can make informed decision to improve their quality of life. She strives to provide exceptional care and a delightful experience for her patients and their families.

Dr. Kristi Swingle (formerly Hesse) received both her bachelor's and master's degrees in speech and hearing sciences from the University of Arizona; she received her Audiology Doctoral Degree from the Pennsylvania College of Optometry, School of Audiology. She spent the last year of her graduate degree program with Arizona Hearing Specialists as a student intern. Dr. Swingle worked here four years before leaving in 2006 to take a clinical professorship at the University of Arizona. After a wonderful experience at the university, she was excited to return to Arizona Hearing Specialists. In 2017, Dr. Swingle married Dr. Gregory Swingle, another audiologist at Arizona Hearing Specialists. Upon the retirement of the founding director, Dr. Janis Gasch, in 2018, Dr. Swingle and her husband became the new owners of Arizona Hearing Specialists. It is their goal to provide the best personalized hearing healthcare services to all individuals.

Dr. Madison Sakaan attended undergraduate school at the University of Tennessee Knoxville where she earned her Bachelor of Science in Education. She attended graduate school at East Tennessee State University where she earned her Doctor of Audiology. Dr. Sakaan understands the negative impact severe to profound hearing loss can have on one's personal, social and professional life. Giving her patients the tools to reengage in their lives is her passion and it shines through in everything she does. Dr. Sakaan specializes in implantable devices, including cochlear implants and bone conduction hearing devices. Her area of specialty includes candidacy evaluations, candidate counseling, initial activation and follow-up care/routine programming of cochlear implants and bone conduction hearing devices.

Dr. Megan L. Wright, born and raised in Tucson, Arizona, worked for many years as a medical front office specialist in various health care settings after earning her associates in 2009 from Pima Community College. After finding her passion in audiology, she earned her bachelor's and doctorate degrees from the Department of Speech, Language, and Hearing Sciences at the University of Arizona. During her studies, Dr. Wright was actively involved in volunteer work within the audiology community, and she continues to work with non-profit groups and organizations to help raise hearing health awareness. She strives to help others achieve their listening goals while educating them about their own hearing health care.

Dr. Nick Ramirez, a proud Arizona native, has been part of the southern Arizona community for the past 30 years. He received his Audiology Doctoral Degree from the University of Arizona and remains a loyal Wildcat fan through thick and thin. Dr. Ramirez is passionate about patient care. He believes that communication through good hearing is the key to good relationships. Family involvement and support are critical factors in the rehabilitation process, in conjunction with hearing aids and assistive listening devices. His areas of interest include diagnostic audiology, hearing aid technology, tinnitus management, cochlear implant candidacy/mapping and aural rehabilitation. Dr. Ramirez is known for providing quality service and his compassion toward his patients.
