Rising star Barbara LeMay is one of opera's most compelling young singers. Equally deft with tragedy and comedy, her beautiful voice and magnetic personality capture audience imaginations. Educated at Ball State University and Yale University, principal roles have included Charlotte in Werther, Lucretia in The Rape of Lucretia, Prinz Orlofsky in Die Fledermaus, The Mother in Amahl and the Night Visitors, Bersi in Andrea Chénier, Suzuki in Madama Butterfly, La Zia Principessa in Suor Angelica, Zweite Dame in Die Zauberflöte, Berta in Il barbiere di Siviglia, Aurelia in The Chocolate Soldier, and Mezzo no. 2 in the World Premiere of Line Tjørnhøj's chamber opera Oration.
