Since joining BMC Lawyers in 2012 Donna has become an integral member of the Firm, leveraging her extensive background in accounts management.
Donna collaborates closely with the Firm's Director's and CEO, overseeing critical aspects of the Firm's operations. Her responsibilities include the administration of the Firm's Trust Account, managing the accounts receivable and accounts payable, and assisting with the Firms compliance with FATCA and AML regulations.
As well as her administrative duties Donna is known for her willingness to assist clients whenever needed. Whether addressing inquiries or resolving concerns, Donna ensures that clients receive prompt and helpful support.

Jay began his legal career at the Whitirea and Wellington Community Law Centres, where he gained experience across various areas of general practice. In addition, Jay was used extensively to deliver lectures and training to police officers at various levels on topics such as law, policy and prosecutions.

As the face of our office Kayla ensures every visitor receives a warm welcome and excellent service. Lisa has been with BMC for over 10 years, initially joining as our receptionist following extensive experience in similar roles across Australia and New Zealand.
In 2020, Lisa transitioned to our General Practice Team as a Legal Executive, leveraging her warm and inviting demeanor to provide exceptional support to both our Lawyers and clients alike. Lisa's dedication to delivering top-notch assistance and her commitment to fostering positive client experiences are paramount, ensuring that every interaction is met with the highest level of professionalism and care.
Lisa works in our Deceased Estates team and is currently part time after returning recently from Maternity Leave. Lisa is available 9.30am to 4.30pm Mondays, Tuesdays and Fridays.

With wide management experience in both the private and public sector, Mark brings to BMC his well-honed skills in people, systems and administration management.
Mark leads the firms management functions and is responsible for ensuring the firm meets its strategic objectives as set out by the Board of Directors through strong leadership and execution.
He manages all aspects of the firm's business and operational responsibilities including Finance, Human Resources, IT, Communications, Marketing and all Support Services to fully support our legal professionals in providing high quality legal services to our clients.
Meredith joined BMC team in 2022, bringing with her a wealth of experience cultivated from various legal assistant, administration, and customer service positions held both in New Zealand and the United Kingdom.
In her role, Meredith supports our General Practice Team and other legal advisors, leveraging her expertise to provide exceptional assistance to our clients. Morgan joined BMC Lawyers in 2021 as a Receptionist/PA at the Porirua office. She quickly became an indispensable member of the team and in early 2024, in recognition of her exceptional organisational skills she transitioned into our Litigation team as an Administration Assistant.
In this capacity, Morgan is responsible for all administrative matters, ensuring the smooth operation of the team and enabling our Lawyers to focus on delivering outstanding service to our clients. Her adaptability and commitment to excellence continue to make her an invaluable asset to BMC Lawyers and the clients we serve.
She embraces her role as the initial point of contact for our litigation clients, ensuring they feel valued and supported throughout the legal process.
Nicola is a Lawyer and Director of BMC Lawyers. She leads our Litigation Teams across our Porirua, Kapiti and Levin Offices.
Nicola spent the early part of her career prosecuting for the Police and Ministry of Social Development, gaining extensive advocacy experience in the District Court. Nicola then spent a number of years in private practice specialising in criminal and family law before moving into local government for six years and has experience dealing with all regulatory matters.
This diverse background and multifaceted expertise uniquely positions Nicola to deliver exceptional legal services, across multiple offices, ensuring clients receive tailored solutions backed by her wealth of experience and commitment to achieving favorable outcomes.

Rebecca joined BMC in 2024 after graduating from the University of Canterbury with a Bachelor of Laws and a Bachelor of Criminal Justice. During her time at university, she was actively involved in the academic and extracurricular community, being voted Vice President of the University of Canterbury Criminal Justice Society (CRIMSOC), being selected as a LawMe Mentor, and serving as a founding member of the University of Canterbury Tennis Club Executive.
These experiences solidified her passion for advocating in Family and Criminal Law.
