Upon graduation from the University of Georgia with a degree in Chemistry, George spent four years as a Captain in the US Army. Afterwards, he then spent 33 years as a Regional Manager with Shaw Industries, a Berkshire Hathaway Company, and one of the world's largest flooring manufacturers. After retiring from Shaw Industries in 2009, George has since enjoyed four years with Carefree Carpets, using his vast industry experience to help our customers find the perfect flooring products to make their house a "home."
