received his medical training at Wake Forest University School of Medicine. After obtaining his M.D. in 1995, he went on to complete an Otolaryngology and Head & Neck Surgery residency followed by a fellowship in Facial Plastic & Reconstructive Surgery at the University of Rochester School of Medicine. He has been practicing in Central Oregon since 2001. Prior to medical training, he received an undergraduate degree in Bioengineering at the University of California at San Diego while on a Navy Scholarship. Upon graduation, he entered the prestigious Navy Nuclear Propulsion Program where he served as a nuclear submarine officer aboard the USS Haddo and the USS Hawkbill and earned such honors as the Navy Achievement Medal with Gold Star, the Navy Expeditionary Medal, and the Defense Service Medal. He and his wife, Tracy, have raised four children in beautiful Central Oregon, all the while appreciating the many blessings of a truly spectacular hometown!
