CREEKSIDE BED AND BREAKFAST

Creekside, one of Cooperstown's first Bed & Breakfasts, a tall Colonial house built in 1849, opened it doors to accommodate guests by two of Glimmerglass Opera's founders and performers in 1982, founded by Gwen Ermlich and her husband, the late Fred Ermlich. Today, memories of stage productions play an important role at Creekside. In fact, before becoming an inn, the house had expanded out of necessity just to meet the needs of hosting both opening and closing night parties for opera productions. Gwen refers to it as "a happy accident" when this routine turned into a family hospitality business... Creekside sits on four acres of lawn with a creek for fishing and swimming in beautiful upstate New York. We are five minutes to the Baseball Hall of Fame and good restaurants and 20 minutes to the Opera House. Gwen would be glad to make dinner reservations for you at wonderful restaurants that will be sure to get you out in time for the performances... All rooms have either Queen or King..
