Promoted economic development in the country of birth, Armenia, by co-funding Digital Pomegranate that produces business apps for mobile and web platforms. Leveraged business background in innovation and strategy to deliver technology enhanced experiences for consumers in tourism and beverage alcohol industries. Net impact has been very positive as Digital Pomegranate employs local talent, hence, supporting young Armenians who are college graduates, but have very limited access to job opportunities.
A native of Gyumri, Armenia, Gayane Arakelyan pursued her bachelor's degree from Yerevan State University in Cross-Cultural Communications. In 2013 she returned to her beloved city of Gyumri and with partners from the USA and Brazil co-founded Digital Pomegranate (DP). She assumed the role of CEO in 2019 and was able to achieve 350% growth in one year.
