DYERS WOOL

Hello! We are Pam Dyer and Kelsey Reeder, mother and daughter, who enjoy running our family fiber shop, Dyers Wool. We are the artisans-and often farmers-behind each and every product. Pam has over 30 years of experience in the fiber arts and is an expert on a fiber technique called lockerhooking... We are located near Hesperus, Colorado, about 20 miles southwest of Durango, and raise sheep, chickens, and garden-produce on two separate small farms less than an hour from each other. Pam and Jim have raised Navajo Churro sheep for many years on the original Dyers Wool farm; Kelsey, Trent, Abbey, and JoJo expanded into Shetland sheep for their finer fleece and great temperament and started their own farm, Corner Notch Farm, as part of Dyers Wool. We practice predator-friendly and sustainable farming practices, and enjoy raising much of our own food.
