GUSTAFSON INSURANCE - Key Persons
Melissa joined Gustafson Insurance in 2006. She began working as a part-time Personal Insurance customer service representative (CSR). Through the years, Melissa developed into a leading Personal Insurance CSR for the Agency, taking on additional responsibilities with training and Commercial Insurance service in a full-time capacity. Presently, Melissa is tasked with servicing Commercial Insurance Customers here at Gustafson Insurance. Her positive attitude and friendly personality are two of her great qualities that often get mentioned by our customers who have worked with her.
Melissa is originally from Kansas, but moved out to Oregon shortly after graduating High school. She enjoys her work and likes to be a problem solver for our Customers. She enjoys the fast-paced environment and is excited for further opportunities in the Insurance industry with Gustafson Insurance.
Scott began working at Gustafson Insurance in 1981. At that time, the Agency had four partners and a different name. After nearly 20 years, Scott took over the Agency, changing the name, re-branding and creating a fresh start for the Company. Over the following decade, Scott and his staff have evolved the Company into a full-service Independent Agency.
Scott holds a Bachelor of Science Degree in Business Administration from Warner Pacific College. He also obtained his CIC - Certified Insurance Counselor designation; one of the most highly respected titles in the Industry. Scott specializes in Public Entity, Commercial and Aviation Insurance. After more than 30 years in the Agency, Scott will tell you that working with Clients is still the best part of his job.
Susy joined the Agency over 20 years ago. Susy manages the accounting and bookkeeping activities for the Agency as well as assisting with Human Resources. When not at the Office, Susy enjoys a hot cup of coffee and a good book.
Tim joined Gustafson Insurance in 2009, starting as a Personal Insurance Agent. Since then, Tim has worked in all facets of the Agency, currently focusing on complex Commercial, Farm/Agribusiness and Life Insurance accounts as well as Agency growth and development.
Prior to joining Gustafson Insurance, Tim was a Commercial Pilot and Flight Instructor, flying corporate jet aircraft for various companies in the Pacific Northwest. Tim earned a Bachelor of Science Degree in Business Administration from Warner Pacific College. He continues to further his education through various Insurance designations and courses and still finds time for an occasional flight. Although vastly different careers, Tim brings the same disciplined approach used in aviation to his Insurance practice. Meticulously working to provide his Clients the best products and services to manage risk and accomplish their objectives.
