Alyssa Mills is currently studying to be a licensed veterinary technician. She loves working at Harborside Veterinary Hospital and looks forward to meeting new fur friends everyday. In her free time she loves drawing, painting, practicing the piano, sports, spending time with her family and friends and is a big foodie (cooking and baking).
Anna Poslusny has been a veterinary assistant at Harborside Veterinary Hospital since 2018. She loves working with animals, and has previously cared for goats, chickens, and a cow at a local sanctuary. In her spare time she enjoys running, playing tennis, and cooking plant-based meals.
Our receptionist Gerri Daly hails from Northport and joined the staff in spring 2014. She enjoys working with people and loves animals. She shares her home with her husband and their rescue dogs Shasta and Sherman. She is an avid reader and always has a smile for everyone.
Veterinary assistant Gigi Riccardi has helped care for pets at Harborside Veterinary Hospital since 2000. She enjoys working with the caring staff and is proud of the excellent care offered by the veterinarians and staff. In her spare time, she enjoys traveling, spending time at the beach, horseback riding and gardening. At home, she cares for a dog of her own named Kona.
Jane Cumming is both the office manager and a veterinary assistant at Harborside Veterinary Hospital. A member of the staff since 1994, Jane loves working with the hospital's friendly, caring staff. She shares her home with two dogs, Della and Tug, and enjoys reading, photography, walking and hiking and training her dogs in her spare time.
Joanne Hackett has been a veterinary technician at Harborside Veterinary Hospital since 2004. Joanne is a licensed veterinary technician and has worked in the animal care field since 1996. She loves working with animals and is proud of the high quality medical care offered at the hospital. Joanne shares her home with a Boston Terrier named Chickie. Outside of work, she enjoys riding her bike, reading, horseback riding, watching movies, checking out Red Sox games and hanging out with her friends and family.
Despite being a relatively new member of the staff, Liz has long been interested in animals and animal care. "I started bringing my own animals to Dr. Frevola 12 years ago," she says. "The staff and doctors have always given excellent care to all of my animals and now that I work here it is a great learning experience."
At home, Liz has two cats named Trinity and Willow; two Australian Shepherds called Ryder and Brooke; and a registered Paint horse named Dolly. Her family is also the owner of Indian Head Ranch where she has been training, showing and breeding horses since 2007.
Marilyn Maggio has been working as a veterinary assistant since 2017. She enjoys long walks with her two dogs, Ellie, the Shepherd Mix and Heidi, the Schnauzer.
She is an active supporter of all four of her daughters activities and enjoys golf with her husband Jim.
Receptionist Sandy Sach joined the Harborside Veterinary Hospital staff in 1997. She loves working with animals, and shares her home with her cat Sweetie and her dog JB.
