HUTTON-LLOYD TREE FARM

Purchased in stages from 1981 and 2001 by Herb Loyd and his family, Hutton-Loyd Tree Farm is around 1000 acres of mostly forested land. It's main purpose is stewardship of the woodlands on the property, encouraging the growth of high-quality native hardwoods for the benefit of both environmental and economic benefit. For several decades, it has also sustained a modest but well-loved Christmas Tree business in some fields, and other fields are rented by other local small businesses for growing landscaping trees, hay, and soybeans... Hutton-Loyd Tree Farm is a beautiful 1100 acre valley used to grow Christmas trees, host events, and nurture a woodland ecosystem.
