Dr. Cappellini attended The University of Scranton where he earned his Bachelor's Degree in Biology and premedical studies. His dental education was completed at The University of Maryland, Baltimore College of Dental Surgery. Dr Cappellini has completed numerous hours of continuing education to stay current with the newest and most advanced techniques in modern dentistry. He is a member of the American Dental Association, the Pennsylvania Dental Association and the Luzerne County District Dental Society. He resides in Jefferson Township.
Dr. Evan James Evanish, D.M.D.
Dr. Evan Evanish was born and raised in Lackawanna County. He graduated summa cum laude from the University of Scranton with a bachelor's degree in biochemistry, cell and molecular biology and a minor in business leadership. He was a member of Alpha Sigma Nu, the national Jesuit honor society. He went on to earn his Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD) at University of Pennsylvania School of Dental Medicine. There he received the Dean's Scholarship and was a member of the Epsilon chapter of Delta Sigma Delta fraternity. Dr. Evanish's passion for dentistry lies in the satisfaction that comes from improving someone's smile and health by using his knowledge and skillful hands. Outside of dentistry, Dr. Evanish is an automotive enthusiast, enjoys the outdoors, and loves trying delicious food around the area. Dr. Evanish currently resides in Scranton with his wife.
Dr. Rinehimer attended Temple University's Kornberg School of Dental Medicine to complete his doctoral studies. Upon graduation, Dr. Rinehimer completed a general dental practice residency at Abington Memorial Hospital. He is a member of the Pennsylvania Dental Association and American Dental Association. Dr. Rinehimer is also a member and master in the Academy of General Dentistry. He also holds fellowships with the International College of Dentists and the Pierre Fauchard Academy. Dr. Rinehimer brings 40 years of dental experience and has a passion for caring for his patients. He currently lives in Pocono Pines with his wife, Maureen. In his free time he enjoys gardening, golfing, swimming and most of all, spending time with his five children and grandson.
Dr. John Evanish III, dentist and owner of Horizon Dental Care, has been passionately serving dental patients in the Lake Region since 1994. Since that time he has grown Horizon Dental Care to five full service dental offices in Hawley, Honesdale, Scranton and two in Stroudsburg. He is a graduate of the West Virginia University School of Dentistry. Dr. Evanish is a member of the American Dental Association, the Pennsylvania Dental Association and the Academy of General Dentistry. Dr. Evanish has completed over 700 hours of post-doctoral studies including the Dental Organization for Conscious Sedation course for sedation dentistry. He resides in Moscow with his wife Janine, their two sons and daughter.
Dr. Krista Flanagan Evanish grew up in Luzerne County. She attended the University of Scranton, graduating summa cum laude with a degree in biochemistry and a minor in psychology. At the University of Scranton Dr. Flanagan and was involved in numerous clubs and honor societies. She continued her education at the University of Pennsylvania School of Dental Medicine earning her Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD). She was a member of the Epsilon chapter of Delta Sigma Delta fraternity. At Horizon Dental Care, Dr. Flanagan practices as a general dentist using the foundational concepts of dentistry, while also incorporating contemporary technological advancements in the field. Dr. Flanagan is excited to return to the Scranton area with her husband to continue her practice of dentistry. Her interests outside of dentistry include reading, spending time with her family and friends, listening to good music, and trying to determine, once and for all, the best pizza spot in NEPA.
Dr. Lianna Damargi comes to Horizon Dental Care from California. She is a second-generation dentist, following in the footsteps of both of her parents. At horizon Dental Care, Dr. Damargi specializes in general dentistry as well as aesthetic restorations and cosmetic dental procedures. She attended dental school at the Herman Ostrow School of Dentistry of USC where she earned her DDS degree. She has also completed multiple continuing education courses in aesthetic dentistry. When she's not caring for her patients smiles, Dr. Damargi enjoys oil painting, trying different workouts, and experimenting with recipes from different cuisines. She and her husband love traveling to new destinations whenever they can.

Horizon Dental Care is excited to welcome Dr. Markus Hill to our Stroudsburg office. Dr. Hill graduated from the University of Pennsylvania School of Dental Medicine in 2011. While in dental school, he also completed a Masters of Higher Education Management. After dental school, Dr. Hill completed a four-year residency in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery at the Naval Medical Center in San Diego, California. Following his residency, Dr. Hill served as an oral surgeon for the Navy in Guam and San Diego.
Dr. Hill is a board certified oral and maxillofacial surgeon with over 10 years of oral surgery experience. His services include comprehensive oral surgery with IV sedation. Dr. Hill provides full scope oral surgery with sedation including wisdom teeth extractions and specializes in dental implants and bone grafting. Dr. Robin Windl is a prosthodontist, specializing in aesthetic restoration and replacement. He has over 46 years of combined experience as a Dental Technician and Prosthodontist. After graduating from the Dental Technology Institute of California he went on to earn his Doctor of Dental Surgery, DDS from West Virginia University School of Dentistry and complete his post-graduate training in prosthodontics and implant dentistry at the Eastman Dental Center of The University of Rochester School of Medicine and Dentistry. He has been an internationally featured speaker on implant prosthodontics and laboratory procedures involved in full mouth reconstruction. He is member of The American College of Prosthodontists.
Dr. Downes hails from Louisville, KY. She received her BA in Biochemistry from Ave Maria University in Naples Florida in 2016. She simultaneously earned a masters degree in Oral Biology and DMD from The University of Louisville School of Dentistry (ULSD) in 2020. Her research is in active learning in elementary oral health education. Dr. Downes received the 2020 Dental Leadership Award at ULSD from the International College of Dentists. She completed her residency at the VA in Loma Linda, CA in 2021. She is a member of the American Dental Association and Alpha Omega Dental Fraternity. Outside of the office she enjoys running, hiking, appreciating the arts, and exploring her new home in NEPA.
Dr. Habeeb attended the University of Scranton where he received a Bachelor's degree in Biochemistry. He went on to attend Temple University's School of Dental Medicine to complete his studies. Upon graduation, Dr. Habeeb entered private practice in the Scranton area. He has taken numerous post graduate courses focusing on advanced restorative dentistry, prosthetics, endodontics and implantology. Dr. Habeeb brings 25 years of dental experience and has a passion for caring for his patients. He currently lives in Dunmore with his wife and two children.
